By the way, WAR, I can't believe that bid worked! Gambled on your history, figuring he'd be an easy drop in the offseason.

Southside, I completely understand and I would advocate for--and be willing to police--a system that exempts minor league players. The Trouts and Harpers of the world would be fair game, but the Taijuan Walkers would not.

The change to pitcher points was to penalize hits, which is contrary to DIPS and the idea at the heart of the original points system

As someone who took over an abandoned team (never had a chance at many guys in an auction) and then made moves this season based on the current arb system, I'm not in favor of the change
-
What was the last change re: pitchers points?
-
Yeah, I feel like the current system punishes people who have one high value player and rewards those whose teams have value spread across several players. The new system is more flexible to deal with those situations.

I came in with a scowl on my face, due to the last change (to pitcher points), but it sounds like that system would be much more balanced. Even with low participation it could work.

I definitely support switching to this system for arbitration, even if only because it's significantly more interesting from a strategic perspective:

I think you might have to perform some sort of sacrifice or something to atone. Maybe the Flying Spaghetti Monster will hear your plea?

Things have gone absolutely as bad as possible since my hubristic trade rejection comment that got sent to everyone. I'm sorry Zeus!

Loan should be corrected as well now.
-
I'll have to work with Niv to get the loan fixed...
-
OK...trade reversed. Damn multiple Carlos Gonzalezes...the add/remove tool doesn't give you any indication, and the order doesn't match the search tool. Gah.

Hey all. I accidentally accepted the trade from Detroit Stars just now when I meant to hit reject. My comments on the trade should confirm what I meant to do. Please veto the trade. Thanks

I'm looking for a SP, 2B, 1B or OF and will deal any prospect along with some cheaper players.
-
Ah ok, his "Team" page did not reflect that yesterday, but it looks all good now. Yesterday it said he had 43 of 41 roster spots filled and $409 spent of a $406 cap.
-
He has a player on the 60-day DL, which increases his roster spot by 1. (I have 43 roster spots since I have 3 guys on the 60-day). As for salary, he has a $6 loan from McCutchen from a trade.
-
Umm, how does This means WAR have more players than roster spots and more salary than his salary cap?
-
Yikes! Poor little Timmy...
-
Fernando Rodney has 5 more points in 37.2 IP than Tim Lincecum has in 93.1 IP. Insane

Interested in moving Granderson to clear up some cap space if anyone has a decent offer.

Given that Cody Ross was listed on the DL yesterday until he played (although I could've still played him), I'm guessing no
