I think a two day split is perfectly fine with the obvious caveat of getting all 12 people in the draft again. I would tend to agree more with the 8 hour timeframe considering this is a dynasty draft, there will be no auto-picks, and there is more...
-
That said, I propose splitting the draft across consecutive days. drafting our starters the first night and our benches the second.

I did a 12 team mock draft on Yahoo last night, and it took about 3 hours for 12 teams to fill 23 roster spots. So I think 6 hours would be a fair estimate of time for 12 teams to fill 40 roster spots.

I think splitting the draft into two parts makes the most sense but I understand that it can be hard to schedule. I would tend towards splitting it, but am fine with a marathon session as well.
-
The only problem I see regarding pausing and resuming is that it'd require a lot of coordination for all 12 people to be present for 4 hours+ multiple times. With that said, 8 hours is an awful long time to be paying attention for. I'd say we take a vote?
-
As far as my understanding goes, the draft can be paused and returned to at a later date easily.
-
if we start the draft planning to go all the way through, and we decide it takes to long will we have the option to finish th next day or no?

I hear the initial draft can last 8 hours. Maybe 2 days would be best...

Full league! Ladies(?) and Gentleman, time to get excited!

Hey league, happy to join. Been doing fantasy baseball forever but this is my first true Roto league so I am pretty stoked. March 3rd would work for me as a draft date.
-
I'm in for Sunday as well.
-

Agree with knocking the draft out in one day. Is March 3rd set in stone as the draft day?

One draft. I have drafts on the two following Saturdays and I'm sure a lot of other ppl do as well.
-
Maybe something like a 5-10 minute break per hour until everyone is done?

I agree

I say we just plow through the draft in one day. I hate breaking up the draft.

Also: Would you rather have one marathon draft (with short breaks) over one day or spread it out over 2 days?
-
Same here
-
Prefer daily lineups and the draft time is good.
-
*Allocation
-
Also: Gonna run with the Arbitration system as opposed to the vote-off system, just personally don't think you should lose someone because you are good at identifying talent.
