• Also, I think it'd make sense to start slower (12 hours, 1 nom per team) to start and then to ramp it up as people feel comfortable and the free agent pool starts to empty.

• In order to speed up the draft consider increasing the number of nominations each team gets at a time. I think 3 or 4 at a time would be manageable.

• DD - No, more like an ebay auction this way. The current highest bid (and who made it) will be shown to all, but you can set a max bid that only you'll see. You'll be able to see live whatever the current winning bid is.

• A slow auction as like a hybrid between an auction & waivers. Each manager nominates a player to be auctioned until there are no new bids for X hours (usually around 8-12). When bidding stops that player is awarded to the manager with highest bid and the manager who originally nominated that player makes another nom. There should be 12 players on auction at any time, but each auction will end at a different time depending on when they were nominated & amount of bidding. Does that

• I can help set it up. Think maybe first week in March makes sense - they'll have been a couple weeks of spring games, we take a week+ for draft, and that leaves a couple weeks still before the season to get your rosters in order.

• Each manager nominates in turn just like a normal auction, but the length of each auction is longer and you can have multiple auctions running at the same time. The length of each auction and the number of players that can be on auction concurrently are both configurable. If I remember it took about a week to do the auction but you really only have to spend a couple minutes a day to keep up.

• In another league we did a slow auction last year and will be doing it again this year. It saves a lot of the hassle of scheduling and makes it easier for everyone to participate equally.
