• Well...he nets $10 and a roster spot between both trades. But I don't see it as a huge deal. Swallows didn't just lock up the league with these trades. So he can bid on Jesse Chavez, Cody Asche, etc. Cool. Whatever.

• You're both missing the larger point: he's in first and has no cap room. He was obviously going to have to cut those guys. Unless you took them for him and removed the cap penalties. Just my opinion.

• I'm willing to eat $7 salary to make sure Grandal doesn't hit the open market. He's a young guy with tons of upside for the rest of this year and for future years and he's pretty cheap. If I want to make a platoon on my fantasy team I would play both of my 1Bs today and neither of them tomorrow. I would have played 2 total games over the course of 2 days.

• Ive got Rajai Davis... when he faces a lefty, he is starting on my team... when he is facing a righty, i start someone else... at some point you have two good matchups and one roster spot, but thats just the way it is. Platoons can still be useful.

• It's a daily move league, I'm not sure what's so hard about that concept. You can move guys in and out if the lineup literally every day if you want.
