Old Skool Ballers's trade block has been updated!

I'm in and I've paid my fee
-
I am still in but the switch to a $50 was unexpected and I don't have the money now but will by the deadline. I hope that I would still be able to make Trades. Let me know Lazer

I'm new, and I can only glean scraps of info from the forum and trade history. Please list the teams that haven't paid and are inactive (most likely to abandon). Thanks, so far enjoying the integrity of this league.
-
Reminder to all: No trades will be accepted by new owners until the $49.99 annual fee is paid. This is done to avoid collusion and hyper owners who have come in during past seasons, turned a roster over and then bailed before the fees were due in Feb.
-
FYI....GOBIAS is under new management. Welcome to the league!

haha, I'm here for the job fair

We're all fucked if he names his squad the Ben Cheringtons.

Winter Mertings? Jeez us
-
Hey guys, I'm out for next year. Should I mark the team abandoned or what?
-
"Winter meetings" eh? Is that some sort of intimidation tactic?

Hey everyone. I've seen a few trades pulled back from lack of response I assume. I'm at the Winter Meetings and don't have any spare time so please re-send them in the next day or two.
-
I'm in. This'll be a much better league with twelve owners invested (literally) in winning.
-
For the record, I'm still in and I look forward to (attempting) a one year turn around. I'm for keeping arbitration allocation set up as is.

No rules are changing.
-
I'd like to clarify that I want to stay in the league UNLESS it switches to a vote-off arbitration system. I think that should be settled or clarified ASAP. Thanks.

Greetings all, and to the commisioners I've paid my fee. Upon reviewing the forum, I presume the arbitration was allocations - more of an armchair experience, and better for $$ league.
-
Are you switching to the old vote-off arbitration rules?

Sorry about that. I can't renew by the end of the year. But I do want to participate and I will renew by the deadline. Thanks.

I'm in

I'm out
-
PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU WANT OUT BEFORE THE END OF THE YEAR. A NON-ANSWER BY THEN MEANS YOU WANT OUT.
-
OK GUYS....THE LEAGUE IS NOW $49.99 PER TEAM. ALSO, NO TRADES WILL BE ACCEPTED BY ANY NEW TEAMS UNTIL THEIR FEES ARE PAID. THIS IS TO AVOID ANY COLLUSION OR A TEAM RUNNING BEFORE THE SEASON STARTS WHICH HAPPENED LAST YEAR.
-
Hey guys. New hyper-active owner here. I'm still trying to think of a good name but in the mean time, I gotta clean house. Check out the trade block and your inboxes
-
Team Name Pending's trade block has been updated!
-
I wonder if we might be able to invite specific friends that we know will be live. I'm definitely involved and would like to keep the team I have as I've been actively trying to improve it.
-
I don't think we should start over. There really isn't any need for that and our rosters for the most part can be turned over in 2 years. I'm really not a fan of the new arbitration rules. I'd rather just lose a guy each year but so be it.
-
Los Bravos's trade block has been updated!
-
I'd maybe be interested if we are keeping our rosters but if we are just starting a new league, i wouldnt be interested in that

$50 right away. But I am interested. My wife was in a $50 league last year. Everyone wants to try to win. Would. We have to start over again or would we keep our teams and just convert the league to be a $50?

This was my first year and I thought it was an active league. I've been out of work all year until the last 2 weeks of the season. My new job is commission and I'm still trying to catch up from being out of work all year so I wouldn't be able to spend

I'm in for a money league. I know I'm not the most attentive on here and a cash prize might be just the incentive I need to be more interested. I think I'd prefer to not start over, but I'm ok with whatever makes sense logistically.
-
Sorry about the reposts. I'm an idiot.
-
I think we should make the league a money league, will get rid of the dead weight as a number of teams are completely AWOL. Torn, though, on whether we should just blow it up and start fresh but it is prolbably for the better. Count me in regardless.

Let me rephrase the last post....I'm in it still...at least for another year....just trying to jazz things up and I think playing for some cash would be a quick fix for all.
-
I think Klusz is talking about walking and I'm sort of in the same boat. This league has just dwindled in each of the past 3 seasons with league activity being at its low point right now. Thoughts??
-
It is simply getting too aggravating having to remind everyone to do things at every deadline and it would eliminate the 3-4 teams that hardly ever respond to a trade offer or set their lineups...yada..yada..yada.
-
I only bring it up because its been thrown out there in the past and I do think it would make things much more interesting knowing that we could win a few bucks.
