• 10 days until the draft! Please go in to the auction draft prior to the draft and add players to the watchlist that you would like to nominate. This will help the draft to go fluidly. Also, the draft is at 2 EST and unless your John Farrelly Brothers, your ability to have a chance to win this league is dependent on you being there for the draft. If you're not there, it will go on without you.

• Another chance to chime in. Pointdexters joined a few hours before cut deadline and was trying to figure Ottoneu rules. He was wondering if he would be able to cut some players. Two of them were from his trade at the keeper deadline so he didn't have a chance to cut them (Fielder and Castillo) and the other two are players he wants to cut (Tanaka and Archer). So the question is: 1) should he be able to cut all 4 players, 2) cut 2 from the trade or 3) cut no one. May the majority decide.

• I grew up a Cubs fan in Chicago but have lived in DC for 10 years so I've mostly watched the Nats go from just awful (John Lannan was the ace!) to juggernaut. I tend to throw a lot of trade offers out there to see what sticks so I'll apologize in advance if I send something a little wild from time to time.

• I'm glad to hear this is a competitive league! My other league is UZR Friendly, which was #1 in points in 2014 but didn't have a tight race for first like yours. I was 3rd in 2014 and 2nd in 2013 and 9th in 2012, but we've had the same guy win four years in a row so I wanted a new challenge.

I don't know about your other league, but in 2014, we were the #3 highest total points scoring league in the ottonue universe... Get ready for some seriously good fbb...
