3rd to 10th - wow. I know it's still very early, but, damn!
-
Ugh. What a horrid Sunday for my team. 43 PA, 1 R, .232 OBP, .184. 9.1 IP and 9 ER. Went from 3rd to 10th place in the standings.

Same with Felix. What kind of wanna be badass pitcher leaves after ONLY 125 pitches in 8 innings of domination? Come on. (so glad we don't care about wins here...)
-
Yea, Cain and Cliff Lee were very disappointing that game.
-
Yeah, but he didn't get a Win. Clearly not a good enough pitching performance (for him or Cain).
-
Cliff Lee FTW! Gotta love 10 innings of shutout baseball!

Owwww my ERA and WHIP hurts.
-
Hey! 2 of his 3 times not making an out this year have been home runs! Be nice to my players!
-
Pedro Alvarez hit a homer - amazing.
-
i had this issue with the same player going from minors/majors on and off last year. (admittedly he was pretty bad, but i was pretty thin on players...)
-
Ryan Flaherty has now scored a run and started a game for Baltimore, and he's still not eligible for my lineup. I'm really not happy with Niv this year, after he was awesome last year.
-
Kenley Jansen threw one inning, which is three outs. Each of those outs was a strikeout. In between, he walked two and allowed a two-run home run. FIP will be out of service for a few days for repairs.
-
Well, that was an exciting couple of weeks, but we've found our way back to our customary spot at the bottom of the standings. Thanks a bunch for those starts, Yu and Timmy!
-
Ahhhh Mike Morse! I never thought I'd care about his injury status. What a world.
-
Yeah, it's fun. I should clarify, those OBP and SLG numbers were just for the day.
-
I <3 early season stats! Small sample sizes FTW!

I had an OBP in the 600s and SLG in the 700s before the second round of games today. Now both are in the low 200s.
-
OBP is not supposed to hover just above the Mendoza line. C'mon, team!

Same with Mariano Rivera. Blown save? Clearly an error.
-
I'm having a weird issue where it says Tim Lincecum gave up 2 HRs in his first inning. If we can get that fixed, that'd be great. ;)
-
Not currently, but i had this problem several times last year. Niv fixed real fast.
-
Worth mentioning: I can't fill out a full lineup but am still accumulating stats. I need both Green and Flaherty in the majors to cover 2B and MI, and only Flaherty is up (though the system has it reversed). Anyone else have wrong major/minor statuses?
-
Awesome, I didn't realize one of my favorite offseason additions was probably a rapist. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/baseball/cubs/ct-spt-0404-castro-cubs-chicago--20120404,0,7370862.story

Yesterday's extensions for Cain and Votto - WOW. Big money. Lincecum just got potentially richer from the Cain deal. As for Votto's deal, wow!!
-
I'm projected to have 9720 IP! Nice.
-
Hey guys, in other news, the salary that I'm currently paying Joey Votto no longer looks as insane!
-
Yeah, definitely weird. Thanks for fixing.
-
That is incredibly weird. I didn't do that.
-
Is there a reason why Nyjer Morgan isn't on my roster? I won an auction for him at $1.
-
i commend you for your aggressive trading, even if not all success... adds some excitement to the league (personally thankful, too, as I'm quite happy with what came my way)
-
But I traded Middlebrooks, a $10 Sandoval, and a Prado rental for Pineda in the first place. $9 Granderson for Belt, Taillon, and Franklin was somewhat acceptable, everything else is a nightmare.
-
Well, the pineda trade is looking slightly more in your favor right now....
-
Taillon, Boesch, and Harper. I'm stunningly bad at trading, apparently.
-
Since the league started, I traded away Lowrie, Beachy, Montero, Turner, Gibson, Morel, Posada, Snadoval, Middlebrooks, Granderson, Lincecum, Rizzo, Skaggs, Felix, Encarnacion, Altuve, & Mariano for Martin Perez, Bruce, Brett Anderson, Franklin, Belt ...
-
Frank Frank and Robot Jones!
-
Beachy/Smith wasn't so bad, considering Beachy had been good for 4 weeks and I was still trying to win last season. But losing Upton, over a now-struggling Pineda no less, sucked.
-
This is spectacularly awesome: https://twitter.com/#!/SouthSideSox/status/185095129865011201
-
that seth smith / beachy part is awesome. SO JEALOUS.
-
Oh, and re: that trade, yes, I'm pretty happy looking back at it, as awesome as Justin Upton is. Best part is how I asked for Seth Smith and you put Beachy in instead!
-
Same here - getting a 2 and a 1 in my ERA and WHIP. But at least my .160 OBP is worth 11 points!
-
I paid WAY TOO MUCH for those awful rates.
-
You're really going to have to do something about that .625 WHIP and 1.13 ERA. You just can't expect to win with numbers like that.
-
last place! so awesome.
-
Standings are weird right now. Standings are also tiebreaker on auctions. I'm not tweaking anything anymore, so act accordingly.
-
I think I'm slightly above average at finding value, and below replacement level at exchanging it for greater value. I've yet to hear a better drop than me dropping Dan Murphy at $3 for him to go at $9 at a position I needed.
-
Pillar, you are the king of the blockbuster trade!
-
My god, look at this trade from last year: http://bit.ly/HcljBq It's even worse than I remember.
-
It's after midnight in Japan, which means it's already opening day. Whoo!
