Got one month to push.

Give Avery credit - he is not letting me rest easy!
-
I decided it was time to bottom out and build for the future six months before the Astros, so I've got a bit of a lead on them. I hope.
-
You're sort of the Astros of our league -- that's ok though, right?
-
Hah, yeah, I suppose my perspective is pretty weird this year.
-
I like that that's the player in this wild trade you're most interested in.
-
Oh good, the injured pitcher I held onto all year is going from the NL West to the AL East! That's fantastic!
-
Void, if you go to yesterday's Live page, he's now listed and his stats are counted. I have no way to verify they were actually added to your season totals, but that's a good sign.
-
Hmm, Void, his stats are not behaving like Machado's did, so I have no idea. I guess, when in doubt, assume Niv made absolutely no preparations for an easily predictable event.
-
You are, that's what I tried to say earlier. When Machado was up at first, he was invisible on the live page but his stats were correctly added in to the totals on that page.
-
Can't tell if I'm getting stats for Skaggs....
-
LOL pillar - very nice.
-
Anyone looking to make deadline deals, please either send me offers or message me.

Sabr is here to chew gum and win auctions, and he's all out of gum.
-
Thud... chris carter?
-
I'm looking for any number of people to help fill out a family fantasy football league. Anyone interested?
-
Ouch!!! http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/index.php/melky-cabrera-suspended-for-failing-ped-test/
-
He's probably about to bounce back -- someone should start an auction on him. And Hanson ;)
-
Sorry our trade didn't work out better for you - I don't think anyone would have guessed Lincecum would fall off like that...
-
Yea- definitely a nice swap! Sorry to have pushed your price up :P
-
I do wish you had bid a little less, to help with the salary cap and keeper value. Still, swapping out Lincecum, Hanson, and Floyd for Kershaw and Sheets - that's not bad!
-
...whole lotta good THAT did.
-
I was saving my pennies for the Kershaw auction.... otherwise I would have taken him.
-
Surprised no one wanted Sheets at $2. Am I missing something about him?
-
The Rime of Jamie Moyer's trading block has been updated!
-
FYI: Machado is up and in my lineup, but isn't showing up on the Live page. But if you add up the stats on the Live page, his are included. So presumably that means he's counted for stats.
-
An oops that won't penalize you too long, at least.
-
An "oops"
-
What was that Chasing?
-
Anyone want to shake things up and make a REAL trade? I've received some abysmal trade offers recently... I'm not looking to fire sale or pay entire salaries of guys I give up when I'm getting total garbage in return.

Those of the Void Will Re-Enter's trading block has been updated!

Cut Kershaw? What planet is this?
-
Great sell high on Maholm for Cubs. Nice grab of Vizcaino, too, assuming his recovery goes well. Too bad no Dempster for Randall Delgado....
-
Well, looks like Vizcaino is going to get the chance to start again, wish I hadn't given up on him. Nice pickup Blood.
-
I appear to be the first to have used this strategy, on July 31, 2011 with Dan Johnson, but Rime came up with the idea earlier in the season when he proposed stating an auction for a player I'd dropped as an element of a trade.
-
Void, no on the standings, I don't think. As for cuts, say you have X for $16, you cut him and are penalized $8. 30 days later, you start an auction for him, win at $8, and cut again. Now you're only penalized $4. You've halved the penalty.
-
Those of the Void Will Re-Enter's trading block has been updated!
-
Is there a way to view previous year's standings? (We can see previous year auction results, but cannot find standings...)
-
Can someone please explain to me what benefit there is to immediately cutting a player that was just won in an auction? Seems to be happening quite a bit this year.
-
Carlos Perez's K-Dance's trading block has been updated!

Those of the Void Will Re-Enter's trading block has been updated!
-
Hey, wow, look at that. If you're reading this Niv - thanks!
-
Hey look, they took that suggestion.
-
That's a good point, no reason not to just put a Minors tag by him like DL and let you move him in and out as you want.
-
I don't get why the minor/major switch has to be driven by some manual-ish data service or whatever. If a guy plays in a MiLB or MLB game, the site clearly knows given what you see on the player's page. Plug in lineup, accrue MLB stats only. Easy.
-
OH duh. I think its sports blog nation. I subscribe to some of the blogs, but never noticed the link on the top right of the home page that says "view all 321 blogs": http://www.sbnation.com/blogs
-
Bauer's thrown 4 major league innings at this point and he's not even on my bench yet, let alone early enough to start him.
-
SB Nation. Aren't they hosting Pick6 now? I don't know what the S and B stand for.
-
SBN?
