Rendon in first 22 games: 61.2 points. So, set to face Syndergaard on Sunday, I naturally benched him. And missed out on 58.7 points! I can probably play Ottoneu for another 20 years and never again have a position player tally 58 points.
-
Gausman improved by 18 points over his last outing! So, it could have been worse, but still ugly.
-
It did not say that Gausman was starting today, I would not have had him in if I knew he was. I hope he doesn't get shelled again!

WTF? Maeda another 4 HRs in one night. I'm about to give upon my entire pitching staff. Every one of these pitchers is available in trades. They all drive me crazy. Maeda will never start another game for the Thoroughbreds - that'll teach him a lesson.

Quite the trade! Those are some big names getting moved.

Tomorrow should be a good day! I get a Chris Sale, Danny Duffy, and Daniel Norris start.
-
I have him in another league, disappointing. But not as bad as the stupid owner who didn't start Amir Garrett tonight!
-
Gerrit Cole is approaching "dead to me" status. I hate being a Pirate fan!!!
-
If anybody wants to carry Marte through his suspension or Kang while he gets his visa, they are available super cheap. Both of them are no longer welcome in the Thoroughbreds clubhouse - too disruptive to the other players.

I see your point and I agree... But in the (much more important) realm of fantasy baseball, Hill's post season starts don't exist. My other SPs love giving up HRs, and I was counting on Hill to offset their terribleness.
-
Rich Hill is what makes the Dodgers dangerous. Without a healthy Rich Hill in the postseason, the Dodgers are much less of a threat for the NL pennant. Rich Hill's $48m is a far cry from $217m the Red Sox shelled out for Price. Going forward over the next several years, I would take Rich Hill's performance over Price's.
-
Rich Hill's blisters are frustrating even in a $10 fantasy league. Imagine what the Dodgers must think of him after they traded several good prospects and gave Hill a $48 million contract.
-
Wasn't expecting anyone bidding $4 on Avisail Garcia.

Haha yeah I didn't expect any sympathy!
-
Everyone else in the league is so sorry you are not crushing us more! :)
-
Forgive me if I find it hard to sympathize after checking the standings 😀

I've now had both Manny Margot and Trey Mancini have 2 HR games while they were sitting on my bench!
-
And if anybody is interested in Adrian Beltre and/or Jung Ho Kang, they are available at discounted prices also due to their current non-playing status.
-
Shameless sales pitch... AJ Reed is hitting .267/.476/.600 at AAA. He hit .275/.408/.600 in spring training. He hit .291/.368/.556 at AAA in 2016, and .332/.405/.571 at AA in 2015. But I am already panicking over my terrible pitching and injuries, so prospects including Reed are available in a reasonable deal for SP, RP, C or OF help.

Well you've only given up 3 Winnetka, your pitching has been quite impressive. It's just been paired with some pretty weak offense so far.
-
Flying Squirrels have only given up two home runs on the season.
-
Now I remember why I hate this game. 5 HRs allowed today by my pitchers, and it's only 5 pm. Why stop at 5 HRs? Maybe they can give up a dozen.
-
I'll do one better LeMahieu + Altuve + N Cruz = -7.3
-
Is $56 for a week of 0 points a bad investment in this league? Yikes, Miguel Cabrera is off to a really bad start!
-
Thanks Winnetka! I just hope I can keep it up.
-
Kudos to Flying Squirrels on his incredible start! Has to be one of the best in all of Ottoneu.
-
Flint, I thought you were going to say you rear ended someone.
-
Austin Meadows, Gleyber Torres, Raphael Devers, AJ Reed and other future All Stars are available. I would like to supplement my pitching or outfield if possible, and I would trade a ton of future value.
-
Word to the wise... Don't set your lineups while you're driving before sunrise. Yesterday it resulted in the Flint Tropics starting a minor leaguer at 1B while Jose Abreu was given a day of rest on the 2nd day of the season.
-
oops just read my last message, that's a doozy. Almost as bad as my team's hitting this year.
-
I grew up in Minneapolis and moved to Chicago in 1994. So naturally, I'm a Twins fan and still follow them closely. I've been pretty disgusted with their management and scouting over the past seven years after having a nice run the previous 20 years or so. It will tough to screw us this year's draft having the #1 overall and a consensus pick of Hunter Greene.
-
I don't see too many Twins games, but I will be sure to watch them more often. Buxton, Kepler, and Sano all have All Star games in their futures.
-
I did watch that. It is pretty much par for the course for him. He is one of the most fun batters to watch when he is on.
-
Anybody else watch Miguel Sano's HR last night? I am not sure a baseball can be hit harder than that.
-
Flying Squirrels' assertion is unassailable.
-
Madison Bumgarner leads all of MLB in Strikeouts and Homeruns currently.
-
Great day for baseball!
-
That is awesome about your son! You should coach his little league team. I coached my son's teams and it was a fantastic experience.
-
If anybody is interested in prospects, I have Meadows, Torres, Devers, Reed, Collins, and Alford available. I am looking to go "all in" this year, so my minor leaguers are available in the right deal.

I taught my 7 year old to throw a 4-seamer from the stretch. I thought it would take months, but he is already throwing a fantastic fastball right over the plate. It's great to see - he carries his baseball around the house practicing his 4-seam grip, and as soon as I get home from work he hands me my catcher's mitt and brings me outside to pitch to me. Baseball is the best!
