I wasn’t sure we would be ready but you all proved me wrong and I appreciate all of the effort to do so. • Just gonna throw this out there. The issue with the slow draft could be pushing our draft pretty close to opening day, assuming things are in place to start after the weekend. Is there any interest in trying to setup a live draft? If so, could get everyone to give me days/times that they would be unavailable between now and the evening of the 16th? If we could all carve out a 2 hour period, that would probably be enough time for most of us to get our teams set.

• For new owners especially, this league's quirk is the vote-off thing, and if you buy that player back, you get a $5 'rebate'. But in all the years I've played this League, I can't remember doing a slow auction. Anyone else? I guess those rare players' prices can be edited later by the Commish

• 2 hybrid leagues (play through August with Points leader paid out (sidepot), the ante goes to a Playoff winner (top 6 qualify -- double your chances to win back your investment and more!; Leagues 1043 + 1252, $100/$75); + a more 'for fun' league (xprospects 1128, cheap league, bragging rights with lots of Otto vets & Slack-ers) that rosters only players who make the Show -- thus you can't buy prospects til they debut (then the bidding war ensues!)

• Opening day will be here soon. As a league, we are two managers short right now. If anyone has a friend that might want to try their hand at an Otto league now would be a great chance. Couple of things we all need to come to agreement on. Slow draft vs live draft? How long do we want to wait until draft day? Is everyone good with the possibility of two teams with no manager? Just tossing it out there. Looking for thoughts from the league.

• Yup, exactly. Usually, it lasts about a week or so. We all start with 3 nominations, so the beginning of the draft there's like 30 something guys on the board to bid on!
