Hey guys, I've had a few inquiries about guys not on my trade block. For what it's worth, I'm open to hearing trade offers out for guys not on my block, but if they aren't currently on my block, then I'm not in the business of actively shopping them and that's intentional for the time being. I was trying to participate in auction on my phone so missed out on most of the high impact players so I've got a TON of money left over. Biggest need is pitching. Prefer to trade guys on my block, but open to reasonable offers on anybody. Based on depth on my roster and left over cash looking mostly to consolidate talent (2 for 1 or 1 + cash for 1 type deals).

Hey gang. I'm new to the league, taking over for Batman & the Boy Wonder (now St. Augustine Shorebirds). I'm new to Ottoneu, but I'm excited to dive in and be a part of this league - it seems like y'all have had a good thing going for several years. I'm still getting my feet wet and wrapping my head around some of the rules and aspects that are unique to Ottoneu, but I'll be updating my roster and setting my trade block over the next week. I'm sympathetic to the missing 2 games in Tokyo, but given time commitments and the value of starting closer to the season for players who may actually be playing the rest of the season, or in a battle for a roster spot (Ichiro notwithstanding), I think that outweighs the effect of 2 games when there's ~2428 more games in the season. Thanks for reading and I hope everyone can make the draft. I'll be checking renewals at the end of the month.

There's 1 outright can't on the 16th, and two others who have other drafts that day that may overlap, as well as two difficult but possibles (including myself as I'll be at a convention for work). We have usually had the draft on the Saturday before the season started as it's the day less people work, and it's at a time that is reasonably flexible for people in differing time zones.

I have a lot of flexibility after the first weekend of March, so most dates would work fine for me.

The 16th is out for me (wife's birthday, this would be a hard one to explain) and Saturday's in general are going to be tough. If it has to be a weekend, what about the week before (3/10)? Weeknights are usually a lot easier for me.

Thanks for making your cuts everyone, there are two available teams that are first come, first serve if you know anyone who is interested. The Draft is currently scheduled for March 23rd, which is after the two games in Tokyo between the A's and the M's but before the main part of the season. I'd be happy to hear feedback about moving it to Saturday the 16th (the sooner the better though, as draft times have filled up in the past).

Generally the hard date I've used for removing owners is at the keeper deadline in January, I haven't had much luck in finding replacement owners before that day in the past. If anyone ever has someone they know who is interested I'd be happy to reach out to owners who appear inactive before then and fill try to fill the spot.
