How long does it take for a trade to be implemented? If I agreed to the trade on Thursday at 3:30 will it be implemented today at 3:30? I just want to know whether I will have Braun for this evening's game.
-
the adam dunn/blue jays trade should be vetoed. there is a serious conflict of interest and we need to protect the competitive balance of this league

I believe the 60-day DL is back on line. Please check your rosters and let me know if there are any changes you need/want made to add players back or remove ones you might have added in the meantime.

Increase is $1 for minor leaguers
Sho time on

You can keep as many as you want, but the salary increases by 2 per player, so you'll have to cut some to stay under the cap. Anyone who is cut goes up for auction at the start of next year.
-
Are keeping our entire rosters going into next year or only a certain number of keepers? If the latter, what is the magic number?

Bluejays - Cobras drafted Andrew Bailey and still has him.

I was trying to find Andrew Bailey using the search function, but he does not seem to be listed. Does somebody already have him?
-
Keep track of anyone you had to cut as a result of the 60 day DL issue. If the glitch gets fixed, I can add them back to rosters, but I can't place someonhe on the 60-day DL via commissioner's tools.
-
For the 3rd time the pitcher I just traded for - Cashner this time - landed on the DL after 1 appearance.

very weird - I had my minor leaguers appear like regular guys. I wonder if it's related. Send in a note to the helpdesk, and I'll see if I can fix it via commissioner's powers.
-
Commish, something happened with the 60-day DL. The system says I have no one on it (I have 2 on it) and forced me to cut two players. Has anyone else experienced that today?

You're right, Dunn, this is a blast. Just when I want to give up on guys (now Gordon) he's waking up. Such a long season. Someone tell Hosmer it's ok to get going. :) Funny, the $1 players seem to have more impact than the guys we drafted.

Dr., I have 10 on DL including my two best players (1 since May 1). And have made 2 trades, in both cases the guy I traded for went on the DL after 1 appearance, with 1 headed for TJ surgery. So I can empathize.

I confirmed that if you drop a player, you cannot bid on him, even if someone else starts an auction, for 30 days.

I'm going more with a Kenny Williams multiple personality GM approach - I want pitching and defense . . no, I want power . . no, I want speed . . . I don't know what I want

When I saw Coco Crisp available for $1 I could resist the temptation to bid for him:). I will keep him this time since two of my outfielders are on the DL.

Wow - a Pet Shop Boys reference. That will send the younger owners to Google, or to ask Mr Peabody to borrow the WayBack Machine.

Hey - Dale Tallon (ex Hawks GM) got screwed when he failed to file his salry cap paperwork on time (ultimately resulting with him becoming ex GM). Was the best day of the month when I saw Coco's cap penalty disappear.

I restored Coco Crisp to the $7 minimum bid. I am tempted to leave him with Blue Jays this time as punishment for his transgressions, but I have some time to consider that action.
