I vetoed a trade I thought was bad and moved on. Didn't think about again until I saw another owner asking a question and getting bullied into silence

this is not a new thing. My two sentence "dissertation" on the rules wasn't even directed at the new owner. It was a comment on MBGA's veto argument which is ridiculous. The veto is non-existent in this league. So, saying that is the only recourse and even discussing a trade one thinks is imbalanced is a terrible thing for the commissioner of a league to say.

Every league is different. It doesn't matter that he is in other leagues. He is the one who asked for context and got shot down by your childish response. I've never once accused you of cheating. That's in your own head, and you brought it up not me. I've given you props for the trades you have made in the past, and your success in this league. I don't know how you convince teams to make bad trades every year, and all anyone needs to do is read the message board from past seasons to see that

The "new owner" is in five other Ottoneu leagues, so I'm sure he appreciates your dissertation on the rules of the game. As for the thinly-veiled allegations of cheating or collusion or whatever it is you think I do...get bent. I make a lot of trades because trades are fun. Maybe log in more often than every three days so you can make these arguments BEFORE trades go through.

No, it doesn't. This is precisely the place to discuss these things. Moreover, the guy asking about the trade is new to the league and wanted some context. No one provided him anything but a smart ass answer from Laser, and another owner saying he thought it was suspect as well. Save your time with the veto argument. In my three seasons, there has never been a trade vetoed, not a single one. It takes 7 veto votes, and we can't get 7 total votes on any trade. Veto power is meaningless

No need to get you’re feelings hurt, sweetie. The teams who have been here more than a season know how you play. You’ve been involved in several questionable trades in my years here. Not a season goes by where you don’t cause a stir. Hell, teams have quit because of it

Didn’t see these posts before. Yeah, it’s basically impossible to veto in this league. Laser always seems to be involved in some questionable trades every year, and he is always on the better side. Not quite sure how he does it, but teams seem to love giving him great deals

I'm new to the league, but am very curious to know why Kimbrel N Bits traded away one of the best players for Devers and Hampson!?! Neither manager responds to messages, so I am posting here. Is this how all trades go down in this league? There were four vetoes so I am not the only one who thinks something fishy might be happening. This is the first time I have ever vetoed a trade

Draft day it is. Please be at the draft on time - there can be a couple minute buffer, but we will start once a majority of the teams are online and want to start. I will lock out those that show up late so we don't waste time - they can ask their fearless commissioner / leader to unlock them once they are online. Again, discretion will be used to penalize those who attempt to game the system.

It is very possible I could be late to the draft tomorrow. I just found out today that I have to work later than I typically do tomorrow. I will do my best to figure something out, but this is all I got right now. I will show up as soon as possible. I probably wouldn't win many auctions early anyway as my funds are limited.
