• My understanding is that CouchManagers takes more work on the part of the commisioner(s), even with the import/export features from Ottoneu to CoachManagers. As well, 3 hours is too short a bidding time. I sleep. And up to 48 players at once? When I've looked at CouchManagers, I see 8 hour bidding times, 1 player per team at a time and weeks long drafts. Slow drafting is what it's designed for.

• If you go to couchmanagers.com you can "watch" live drafts for other leagues to get a feel for it. Look under the "Auction Draft" tab at the bottom of that part of the page there is a list of live/current drafts. It is pretty easy to figure out once we got started.

• Yes, essentially it is the same as a normal auction. Each team can nominate say 2-4 players at a time. We then have 6 hours to bid on any/all players nominated. Once the 6 hour clock gets under 3 hours each time a new bid is placed on a player the clock resets to 3 hours. It may sound like it will take forever (it will with the first few players), but it picks up steam real fast. The software is clunky, but what draft site isn't lol.

• I just did one for another Otto league and it only took a week to finish a start-up league. We would have far less players to auction off. We could do a 6 hour clock with a 3 hour reset and could finish in the span of a few days hopefully.

• Thanks for welcome messages! I could draft on the 25th or 26th if we want to get it in before the 27th. I could also do the 24th if we start no earlier than 8 pm ET (I am in the Mountain time zone and have a late afternoon meeting that day). Otherwise afternoons and evenings of the weekend of April 1-3 would work for me. I could not draft on the 4th, but I could make the 5th or 6th work. And congrats Team Name Pending!
