• I can't guarantee that I can dedicate more than a consecutive hour before 9pm eastern on any given day. Sometimes not even then. A slow draft is the only format that I can manage.

• Two points for new Ottoneu players: (1) This is in Russell's article at the bottom: The salary cap at auction does not reset after the draft and you generally regain half of the salary of a dropped player at first. So you have to consider whether and how much money you want to leave with to use for free agents. (2) Salaries increase every year. $2 for each player with a major league appearance, $1 for others. And then your team salary will go up an additional $12 to $36 in arbitration.

• My 2 cents - strongly prefer slow draft, mildly prefer no mock (time constraints w/kids + level playing field with everyone being Ottonewbies)

• Realistically, I don't think I'll manage to put aside the bulk of a day for a live auction. Just too busy with kids etc. at weekends. Also, I'm in Scotland, so timezone differences may make that a bit more difficult for me. I can see what I can do if there's a consensus from the rest of the league though...

• Personally, with TDG ranking season in full swing my bandwidth for a new league is small. So I’d prefer no mock and dealing with the consequences since almost all of us are noobs.
  
  If others feel differently I can handle a mock but may not be able to prioritize it for full accuracy.

• I'm always very concerned about a lot of things. When we fill, do folks want to run a quick mock slow draft so everyone is familiar with the website and the process before we run for real. I'd hate for folks to be disappointed with their early picks during a small learning curve.
