June 10, 2025 5:47 PM : Diaz was promoted from the rookie-level Arizona Complex League to Triple-A Reno on Tuesday, Alex Weiner of ArizonaSports.com reports.
Analysis: Diaz was transferred from Reno to the ACL back on May 26 as the Diamondbacks hoped to get him back on track following a rough start to the season in the Pacific Coast League, where he turned in a 7.50 ERA, 1.93 WHIP and 33:31 K:BB in 30 innings over his first eight starts. He made a lone appearance in the ACL on Saturday, giving up two earned runs across two innings but striking out five and walking none. The performance was enough for Diaz to earn a return to Triple-A, though it's unclear whether he'll slot back into Reno's rotation right away.
