I still need another 200-Ish ABsfor that at bats record. My next target is the doubles record or the holds record.

Down the stretch they come! 5 points apart.

Who could have guessed that a HR-prone pitcher's numbers would get worse moving to US Cellular?
-
All this terrible pitcher outing talk had me reminiscing about James Shields. I dediced to check up on him to see how he was doing. On August 7th he gave up 4 home runs in 1.1 innings for a -64.93. In 90 innings with the white sox he's sitting at -21.00.

more in the vein of depressing oneupsmanship: last night my 13 starting hitters combined for a total of 5.4 points, and just 2 hitters on my bench combined for 59.1 haha.

Tony Watson with -42.37 in .2 IP, That'll destroy anyone's pitching stats

Greinke and his -38 really tried though!

-46.6 from Brock Stewart, a couple of -20s from Chad Green. Maybe for this season?

That is impressive. I've had some performances in the -20's, but -49 is amazing.

-49 from Taijuan Walker yesterday! YESSSS! Seriously, is this a record?

Such a disappointing season...really thought this team had a chance. Anyway, I'm open for business...if you want something for the stretch run make me an offer.

Looking to acquire pitching, starters or elite relievers. I've got a long list of prospects, all of which I'm willing to move in the right package.

Um... wow... that's some serious price inflation

To whoever started the Kendrys Morales auction that finishes a couple of hours before I am able to bid on him, well played, and thanks for the $2

Heyward + Stanton + J Upton = 688 points; or 110 LESS than Kershaw has. Pretty obvious why I'm almost 1500 points behind.
-
haha, yes. I half wondered if you were trolling me by even bringing him up for auction. Same with Dae-Ho, who I still regret not bidding up higher. I have to show restraint not to lose my head with M's prospects.

Right now we're 1/3 of the way through the season. Currently, 3 teams are on pace to beat the highest league score, Adam is on pace to shatter the HR record and 2 teams are on pace to beat the triples record.
-
And there's the Wisler implosion I've been waiting for... guess who the dumbass was that inserted him into his SP lineup 5 minutes before game time?
-
OK, sorry for the running commentary but watching this "parade" I'm amazed by how grouchy Lee's managers seem to be after every HR (I know this is more of a cultural stoicism thing or whatever, but still it's pretty over the top when they are just stone-faced even when it's a go-ahead homer late in the game. Secondly, that is a *really* slow home run trot on a couple of those. Third, I think some of these parks are small, but all of these seem to be WAY out, not close.

#8 is off of Darvish I believe

oh man, I was wondering if/when we would start the auction for Daaaaaaaae-ho. Unfortunately I have 2 first basemen who should be playing all the time, and Dae-ho is just platooning, but if he keeps up a 154 wrc+ the playing time will hopefully increase. Love, love, love what he's done for the M's this year. And what's not to like about the absurdly large leg-kick he uses?

Hey guys, I'm taking offers on Dallas Keuchel. Looking for long term asset(s) - likely pitching.
-
What really annoys me is if Trey had taken the stats from any time in the past week my team from 637 would have been there. The Zobristocrats passed me last night.
-
In regards to total points (already accrued), you're 6th. Those points are banked. Any further points extrapolated are simply a guess and subject to regression/trades etc
-
Nah, that's just ordered by league number. RG had a post a while back where the leaders had 6+ P/G and P/IP, and I'm certainly not at that pace.
-
Adam currently has the 5th best team in Ottoneu Points (http://www.fangraphs.com/fantasy/the-ottoneu-standings-dashboard/).

haha, yeah that was nice. I was listening to the 2nd inning when he couldn't throw a strike and turned it off after the Astros scored but obviously I was the problem because he was mowing them down after that. If it makes you feel any better I would have had him in the first place if I'd been at the draft, though I would have probably had to pay him a higher salary. I'm pretty sure I told the guy drafting for me to bid up to at least $15 to get him and Iwakuma.
