• DCS let me know, this morning, that he can't stick with the team. I have one guy that might be interested in taking them over. He'll be a great boon to the league if so. • As we're one day out, Couch Managers has been down since Wednesday night. It sounds like their transition to a new server was great, except the new server was defective. • I've done a check through and not seen any errors, and no one has told me any different, so I'll assume the rosters in Couch Managers are good to go for the draft. So, Sunday 9am ET is the go time. Just as a heads-up to everybody, the roster positions in CM are not all the same as Ottoneu (guys are given assumed positions - ie) Chisholm has 2B, McLain has his positions pre injury). We'll, obviously, go with Ottoneu in season, so guys will have to earn positions before they can play there.

• You'll probably notice roster pos. in CM don't line up exactly (I've only made 1C slot and 2RP slots) as some teams don't want a full allotment of 5RP or 2C but want full rosters and Ottoneu rules state that pitchers can be put into either spot legally (although not accruing points if they are in RP and start and vice versa) and teams only need to be able to fill the 22 roster spots legally (this doesn't include 2C spot). Those extra spots can be filled in draft by anyone, including 2C or RP.

• Alright everyone, rosters are loaded into CM. I've added the 5 players (manually) who didn't make it over (due to special characters in their names). I've done a quick check of roster size and money spent, and that lines up. Please check your roster for player/salary info. I'll do a full check through tomorrow or Thursday, as well. After that, we'll set things up to start on Sunday at 9am ET. I'll do a 24-hour initial timer on all players with an 8-hour refresh for outbids.

• It's back up and running, and has been for about 4 hours. It's lightning quick and responses right now. Hopefully he's got it all ironed out. I'm in one ongoing auction, which will hopefully be wrapped in the next couple of days, so I'll get a chance to see if it holds up. We're missing one team - Sleepers - who if they aren't signed up by mid-week, we'll have to enter a placeholder spot so I can set the draft. Very much want to avoid that, so hopefully he signs up today or tomorrow.

• As a lot of you have probably seen, CouchManagers had a disaster of a weekend. Crashed on Saturday, was fine on Sunday and then completely offline. They've been running emergency server maintenance since. Hopefully they'll be good to go, with a new server, by tomorrow. If they're up and running by the end of the week, we'll likely still go there. Otherwise, we'll have to re-evaluate.

• early enough to run a batch of FA auctions before the season begins. Obviously, only two teams play March 18-19, and real opening day is the 27th, but I'm assuming getting those first two games in are more important to most than waiting that extra week. • With the season starting on March 18th, we obviously want to have the draft done with a week or so grace to make any moves before the season starts. I'd opt for doing a slow draft, as we have people in multiple times zones on multiple continents and getting 12 of us available for a couple of hours (321/480 players kept, meaning 159 possible picks) or more could be difficult. Last year's draft ran from March 8-15. I'd suggest we do March 8th again. This would likely allow us to finish

• A couple of date reminders - teams are due for renewal one week from Friday (January 31st). That is also the keeper selection deadline, as imposed by Ottoneu. You must have your team roster finalized to prepare for draft season by this date. If you allow your team to expire, and then you reclaim your team, you will not be allowed free cuts after that date. New owners are allowed this, as imposed by Ottoneu.
