A lot of really good players were non-tendered. Free agency should be a mad house this year.

This is a relatively quiet league. If anybody has interest in any players on my trade block, I’m in the market to make some deals. Trades are the most interesting part of this game.

yeah my bad on missing allocations also. i set up an original start and was going to fine-tune it before the deadline but just forgot. i just moved into a new place last week so i've been trying to manage that-- still would like to be in the league

No worries Horrorshow. We are all distracted.

I'm the one who fully zoned out here. I've just had my attention elsewhere and had it in the back of my mind that arbitration is a December thing.

Plus let’s cut some slack this year. There is so much shit going on that we are all dealing with in different ways and some might have less capacity to even think about fantasy baseball right now.

I’m pretty sure two of the three teams allocated they just didn’t use their full amount. I believe one had $3 left over and the other had $11 or something like that. They are listed as not having participated bc they had money left over. Not as bad as all three zoning out.

the trade deadline, but nothing about arbitration, which is during the off season and much easier to miss? That doesn't make any sense to me. Each of the owners that missed it indicated that they would be back next season, so I think this is less of a problem of them being too buys and more of a problem of Ottoneu not making the process easy enough.

I appreciate it's frustrating to see, but I think you are wrong to make that judgement. I almost missed allocating myself this year. The season ends and you've got 2 weeks where nothing can be done. Plus, lets face it, if you were out of contention after the trade deadline you would have been zoned out for well longer than that. The system could do a much better job of making sure owners know what is coming when deadlines are involved. I searched my email and I found one about.....

Same thing happened in one of my other leagues - 3 teams skipped arbitration. It is safe to assume they abandoned their teams. We get a full month to do it, and it only takes 5 minutes. If anybody is too busy to spend 5 minutes, they are very clearly too busy to be in this game.

It looks like we had 3 teams that didn't do their allocations. I feel like in the past the Ottoneu system has done a better job of prodding about this, but maybe we're all just more distracted in 2020. I'd prefer to have everyone allocate, if that's even still possible as I feel like it screws with the balance of the league when we don't. Has anyone seen this resolved in other leagues?

So close to everyone coming back. If you are sure you are out, Dead Ringers, does anyone know someone who might want to take the team?

If anybody is looking to add an extra team, we have open teams in League 26 (“Flags Fly Forever”) - a long-standing FG Points League. Looking for active owners who aren’t scared of a rebuilding project. Full disclosure: Cubby Bears has a team in that league also, and he wins it a lot.

Cole and Nola are pretty cheap at $33 and $26. Those of you with cap room now would be best to trade for them now than wait for the auction.

Also, if anybody wants to work on off season trade negotiations, let me know. Other than college football, I can’t get interested in any current sports. Even college football is hard to watch at this point.

Just so I don’t sound crazy (if it’s not too late) - there is a debate about illegal rosters in the off season in that league.

I have a team in League 15; in that league 9 of the 12 teams have illegal rosters. I will check my other leagues, but I expect to seem similar numbers. It does not bother me. The roster rules only apply during the regular season. I don’t see a problem.

Actively looking for OF help. A deal would revolve around at least one of the following: Devers, Moncada or Chapman.
-
No, there is no limit on loans. In this case, it was just that Indy had somehow missed that the deal included the loan, and both owners agreed to cancel it over the misunderstanding.

I’m still kind of new in the league. Is there a limit on loans?
