What salaries in particular are you looking at? In general, I would expect the older leagues to have more disparity. We have had a few seasons where we didn't feel an absentee owner or two, but arbitration has been pretty consistent year to year. There are just only so many arbitration dollars to allocate.

Being an old league means that some players got so expensive that it made sense to cut them at some point and reset their salaries to market levels.

Hey all, we've only had about half the league allocate arb dollars so far. You can change your allocations up until the 14th. No reason not to sign in now and get started.

Two quick updates. 1. I was able to get in touch with Darvishes, and he is back for next year. 2. We have a new owner for Blackmon. Welcome to the league Chad! That leaves us with one spot to fill - Iannetta Crook. If anybody knows someone who would be interested, now would be a great time to speak up.

Ok, with arb starting today I think we can safely say that Darvishes and Blackmon's non responses mean they are out, and Ianetta seems to be out as well. So, before we open it up to strangers... does anyone have anyone they know that might be interested in those spots?

Hi all. Arbitration starts in less than two weeks (10/15). That process only really works if everyone participates, so I'm going to ask that everyone posts a message here to let the league know that you are in if you plan to arbitrate and renew for next season. If you don't plan to do either, please let us (or at least me) know that as well so we have time to find a replacement who can. Thanks, and I'm looking forward to your feeble attempts to dethrone me :)

BTW, HPP, I know it's small consolation, but that K record is still super impressive. Almost 1,800 over 1,500 innings? Just ridiculous.
