• Hi all! Results are in - Middle draft date won (between Feb 22 - March 9). I hoping to get one more person to join shortly to replace Gaussian (unless you appear??). Then we can schedule a day. Will aim for a weekend during the afternoon so it's not too late with the time difference for Mike. The draft will be much shorter than last year, probably a couple hours max. Also - couple more weeks to finalize cuts/trades!

  For the draft, I’ll point out the season starts March 20th with two games in Korea. So maybe early or mid-March is best. Also, since I’m 5 hours ahead, an afternoon time slot would be ideal if possible!

• With complete candor, I don’t have the cap space for Ohtani and will likely cut him. If you’d like to acquire him and not leave it up to auction, I’m entertaining trade offers. $65 seems like a lot for a guy who’s only going to hit Util this coming year, but for the keeper perspective, he scored me 1856 points this past season despite missing our playoff weeks. $65 is a steal for that kind of production when he’s fully healthy next year.

• Rounds depends on how many players are kept. Each team can keep up to 40 players and must be at $400 or below by Jan 31.
  
  Draft order doesn't matter because it's auction, but probably the winner from last year throws out the first guy. Or maybe last place. Something like that.

  A note on Keepers - I just confirmed it is more of a cut deadline. So between now and January 31, 2024, you can cut players. Anyone you do not cut by then, will be kept.

• Arbitration period is open, ends 14 November I think. If you don't allocate $25, at least $1 per team, you won't get credit for any arbitration allocations.

• Your roster will likely become "illegal" during our off-season due to players coming off the 60 il or other real life team moves. Just as long as you were legal on the last day of our regular season then it's all good!
