• One other benefit is less time sitting on our hands with locked rosters while we wait for the draft. If we draft early we have the ability to make trades and claims as things happen during spring training.

• Hey great question! I can only speak for myself and maybe a few others in here that I've played with for a bit but early is just easier to schedule for starters, by March everyone has spring break plus other drafts etc. And then also I'm of the opinion that the depth and structure of ottoneu rewards taking cheap gambles before ST shakes out, plus auctions and trades allow for injuries and what not with salary relief from cuts and there's never really a perfect time to avoid injries.

• I’m free then but just curious, why the preference to have it so early? I’d think around mid-March would be better to see how the rest of the offseason shakes out as well as spring training performances and injuries.

• Hey everyone, I wanted to get rolling with scheduling the draft if. Historically we have drafted in early to mid February at 9pm eastern time. Personally most days work for myself at that time but I know we have some folks who prefer weekdays to weekends so I'm going to propose Wednesday 2/12 as an option. Please let me know if this works for you and also it never hurts to re-up your league fees asap either. Thanks, and hopefully we can schedule this soon!

• Thanks everyone! It was a great year, hardly any injuries to key players and a bunch deals going my way. Appreciate you all being here and I’m looking forward to running it back for 2025, it’s been a great league so far even with some of the turnover. I think we have a real solid group here, that being said please let me know if you don’t plan to return. Otherwise can’t wait for arb and postseason ball to begin!

• Yeah I doubt there were many teams on the whole platform that were better than Bridge. And Killebrews probably would have won 75% of leagues out there. My team fell off HARD that last month of the season, but pleased with my performance year 1 in the league. Thanks for having me and looking forward to a fun offseason.

• Hey everyone please welcome the new manager of Ninja Black Sox, I'm sure team name change is incoming, but they were one of the original members of this league and were a competitive ottoneu player in another league of few of us were in, 1222, before taking a break this past year.
