Sounds fishy. I swear I seen trout on the roster when I clicked the team also We get shitty teams and lose our best players. While u have no penalties and stacked teams lol Why would he drop his best 5 players ? Makes no sense to me. Also why are the payouts so horrible ? They keep a lot of money for what ?

As a leaguewide PS, Right now all our rosters are "locked" via Ottoneu admin...I'll keep checking. For most teams, drops will now be a 50% hit. For newly joining managers, we'll have to talk about the parameters of another round of penalty free cuts....

That said, when you took over the team, those drops were already made. And, because they were already made, you didn't know they had been on your team.
Sometimes when teams make drops, it leads other teams to make corresponding moves (seeing certain players in the pool with the idea at a certain cost, leads them to make a drop).
You can still target and get those guys and hopefully at a lower price!

Before you took over this team, it appears that the last manager came in and made those drops. I wish it was a default rule that a manager had to pay first (but I'll try and lock teams next year to ensure payment before drops are made).

How come I had 5 players that were dropped as soon as I took over this team ? Look back at the transactions. (That was not me) kinda sucks because I would have kept 3 of the 5 Atleast. 😭. How did that even happen ?

Ok it actually let me drop guys but I can't find it again now lol When I click the cut player screen it says locked

Also, as for Frederick/Aspence rejoining us. He was the prior owner too, but just hasn't yet paid....I'll give him another day to get the payment made

For new managers, it's going to be a daily locked, unlocked thing. But keep reminding me and I'll keep unlocking (but please get the drops done ASAP as there are just 5 days left of the new manager penalty free drop period)

I can confirm Drew Paid, Drew, I'm checking a box to allow you penalty free drops for 7-10 days....if you want to make any to free up roster room or cap space.
We're now just one team short (it's in the "abandoned" teams list on the Ottoneu "claim teams" page)

any newly joining (and paid) team will be able to do the same (If a team joins and tries to make cuts before paying, I'll reverse those drops until we have a paid team doing it)

We are at 10 paid. we've had another new joiner. Drew L. Hopefully he pays right away. And I marked Frederick's team abandoned so we can get someone responsive (I emailed Frederick and didn't hear back but see that he had been checking in the league over the last week but didn't make the payment deadline)

Hey Jim B, welcome. yeah, you pay at the top of the league home page or under the "ottoneu tab" on the top left and then "extend" next to the team name/league (I think). The money is held by ottoneu and/or its partners

Agree with Tempest. While the vote off system is unfair, and arbitration is way better, we're stuck with the former system for now (but have it changed going forward). Still trying to right the ship (and welcome back Beaver)

@BeaverLiquors, I think it is too late to nullify the vote-off for this offseason because we do need some form of arbitration in place. I see that the new commissioner already changed the arbitration system for next offseason to allocation, which I much prefer and argued for last season and again earlier this offseason.

As for the $$. I'm cool keeping with $50 as I have another $100 league I run. HB, if there isn't a renewal by 1/31 in that league, I'm going to send you an invite. I'm also good starting a 3rd league from scratch (separate from this) at $75

As long as people are joining and taking over teams (and paying), we ought to keep the existing rosters. But I'm sure there will be a lot of drops/adjustments/activity as we all reshape our teams into "our guys"
