The former owner was a non paying owner who took over an abandoned team in the middle of the year. He was not invested in the league amd who complained about the type of league we had, the activity level and the other owners. I decided it was better for the league to remove him and replace him with a person who wouldn’t bad mouth league.

I did not get into an argument with the former owner. He was in an argument with NEVERLUCKY. I’ve had multiple owners contact me via email showing interest in the league and I reached out to one after the former owner started complaining, again, about the league.

I'm a little suspicious of what just happened. Judith got in an argument with the commish, Judith's team was abandoned by the commish (the only person that can abandon teams), and--according to my email timestamps--Judith's team was immediately picked up. Commish, can you shed some light on what happened here?

Wow he quit? Pretty drastic. My only point about the trade is that I hope bumppo stays. Someone in my other league took over, offered me a trade, I accepted, he left, and trade was overturned.

Unless a commissioner has very thin skin he wouldn't attempt to kick someone out of a league just because they disagreed about etiquette. But as we know, sometimes people have very thin skin.

There are many things that people are not allowed to post on the message board however criticism of trades is allowed. And unless owners have very thin skin I fail to see how it prevents trading.

My point is correct. There is the veto button. Use it. Otherwise the whining about trades is counterproductive to trades. I don't complain about "everything" that happens in this league. I'm very narrow and specific in my criticism. Stop whining because you don't like a trade. That's literally the only criticism I've ever offered. If I wanted to leave I could have. I don't. Actually it matters what everyone thinks. That's why there are buttons on the trade review page for approval and veto. If a team doesn't like a trade they are free to complain about it on the message board as well as veto it. Other teams can defend it if they'd like. Judith Martin- I'm tired about you complaining about everything that happens in the league and telling us why your other league is so much better than this one. If you don't like this league you are free to leave.

It doesn't matter if you think it's a weak return. This leagues perpetual second guessing of trades is unhelpful. If every trade runs the risk of being publicly shamed for not getting some subjective measure of "enough" people are less likely to be willing to trade. Which seems true. This league has far less activity than my others.

I honestly do not understand the pending trade.. objectively how does that help bumppo. I might be wrong but it looks like a weak return for judge and moose.

I'm fine either way. I just saying if we stay at $50 ottoneu keeps 42% of the cash paid. If we move to $75 ottoneu keeps only 31%. Why throw away 11% of the winnings for jusy $25 each? Plus 1st pays $400 instead of 200 and 3rd actually profits $25 instead of breaking even.
Those are my comments. I vote to change it to $75

Hey red. I was looking at new prices and if we renew as a $75 league it only takes out an additional $25 from pot ($250 vs $275 in fees to Ottoneu). I vote that since that is a much better pot for us to get back, we change to the $75.

I wanted to give him a chance, since he was the former commissioner of the league and had logged on as recently as 11/13 but Dave Stewart was removed from the league since he did not participate in arbitration. That means we are still in need of one new owner. If anyone is aware of a person looking for a league please let me know.
