Well, I've been a bit preoccupied with real life for the last month or so and the season is almost over for another year.
It is a privilege to form the rock bottom on which the league stands :) The top 3 are much closer than a cursory look at the standings suggest!

More than fair reasoning from you guys; the only thing that raised flags for me is McCullers currently shut down again rehabbing the same injury from 2021. He’s definitely got the talent if he can fix is elbow. Sorry we called it out publicly like this too

You better hope that McCullers does not make these comments look foolish in a year from now. Which he might do. And that is the point: You pretend that your evaluation of a player is right and the only logical basis for the analysis of a trade. But that is not how it should work. Let’s all be honest here: We are all wrong all the time in fantasy baseball. And we all have the right to take the path that is right for us.

Appreciate the explanation and I get we all have different values on these guys, I just don't see a world where giving Altuve is taking a "free" flyer on a guy who hasn't pitched in two years and has suffered multiple setbacks even this year. There's also no comparison between McCullers and Sale or Flaherty, both of which were pretty productive last year.

Yep. What they said 👇. Altuve was going to be a cut for me in the office season, so I'm just taking the flyer in return of nothing that I'd get once the season is over.

When healthy, McCullers had great numbers in HR9, K/IP and ERA with a pretty good WHIP. And he is really cheap. So the Bangers are basically taking a flyer at his upside for free, like I did with Flaherty and to a lesser degree with Sale this year. To me this is a typical close to the deadline deal in Ottoneu and pretty much what the teams in the lower half should do to rebuild. So I don‘t really know what your problem is.

I don't like this one. I know Altuve is getting on in age, but sending him to a competing team from one completely out of it for a 30 yo pitcher who hasn't pitched in the MLB in a few years is a little weird. I'll be vetoing

Hi all, I am considering increasing the number of active nominations by 1 each per remaining team, this will increase the number of active auctions and allow us to finish the draft sooner, we started later than expected and I have had a few managers reach out and request this. Unless I get strong feedback against doing so I will make the change in 24 hours.

I had to manually assign Reese McGuire over Henry Davis on couch managers due to the latter not having C eligibility and breaking his draft.
Please ignore Henry Davis, if anyone was desperate for Reese McGuire let me know and I will make him available but I figured he was a handy solution for this problem
