After today's deals, there are still 5 players in my fire sale. take a look at my trade block!
-
if you want to make a championship run, the earlier you stock up in my fire sale, the more impact you can have on your final score!
-
Sarah/JD just got Brandon Crawford! Who's next?
-
The fire sale has started. Owners in the hunt please review my trade block before your competitors clean up my good players! Stephen just got JD Martinez!
-
I think my players heard my comments earlier today re: fire sale. Both hitters and pitchers are negative points today!
-
I am looking for young, quality, good contract SP in return.
-
After today, I consider my team eliminated from League contention, and side bet contention. All my valuable players are on the trade block. I want young talent in return. I am now playing for next year.
-
$2 for Brandon!
-
3M: remember in 10k races where someone starts out running like it's a mile, rather than 10K? They look really good for a while.....but then....
-
I might start a national petition to change the rules.....how can it be that I'm in second place but really in last place???

$2 for Stephen!
-
to be within 10% of our Stephen (and have a chance to win), you need 9529 coming out of the all-star break.
-
Was anyone else worried to see none of your players playing yesterday? Whew
-
Taking a moment to update everyone during the All Star Break. The leading hitters at this point in the season are Jared, Paul and Stephen. The leading pitchers are JT, Larry and Stephen. The leading scorers are Stephen, Paul and Melissa. The leading projected scorers are Stephen, Larry and Jared. Everyone remains in the 17K-18K projected range except Brandon, who is getting very close at 16989, Tyler, also getting close at 16848, and Melissa, who is not close at 16269.
-
Yesterday, Jakson Reetz, 25 y/o catcher for WSH, had his MLB debut with a double in his only AB. He is from the high school district (Norris) that Martin/Wenger live in.
-
200 point day for Paul and he breaks 10K!
-
anyone interested in Mackenzie Gore? The SDP top pitching prospect? If yes, DM me.
-
On an adjusted points basis, Larry is the current leader with 18,576, followed by Stephen (18383), then Jared (18,351). As before, everyone is in the 17K-18K range except Brandon (16911), Tyler (16702) and Melissa (16135). As mentioned, last week was the official halfway point (50% of the total games played), but many cite the 4th of July as the halfway mark, while others cite the All-Star break (which is next week). At any rate, there is a substantial amount of the season played.
-
I hope everyone had a good weekend! Paul extended his lead to 100+ and Sarah/JD did a roster overhaul, with Larry doing some roster tweaking and Melissa continued her relentless point accumulation. The top 5 teams remain quite close with Paul in the lead, followed by Stephen, Melissa, Sarah/JD and Larry. Less than 300 points separates these teams. Jared continues to have the best hitters (5.96/g) followed by Paul and Stephan. JT continues to have the best pitchers (5.97/i) with Larry and Stephen
-
After last night, we are at the halfway point. 81g played is on track for 163, 80 is 161 (see the standings page). Paul has a 102 pt lead at the half way point. The top 5 teams are within 10% of Paul, so any could win. Stephan and I are just outside 10%, but close enough to keep trying (at least for now). In my humble opinion, teams below me (and perhaps Stephan and I) should start planning for next year.
-
We will hit the halfway point (81 games) for teams this FRI. At that point, there will be 90 days with games played left in the season....so if you don't have 72 games played at a position on SAT morning, it will be impossible to get to 162. There are several teams that have at least one position that is at risk.
-
I am looking for 5 or 6 point hitters at 2B, SS, MI, 3B or OF. Also looking for SP at 6/in or better. I have prospects available. If you are interested, let me know. The value of your players to me decreases by the number of weeks left in the season for me to benefit from your player....so let me know if you want to deal.
-
We are approaching the halfway mark in the season. Current 162g pace is 78, so later this week we will get to 81, which is halfway. At this point, Paul has regained the lead, followed by Sarah/JD, Stephen and Melissa. In projected points, Stephen has the lead (18629), followed by Larry (18558), Jared (18125) and Stephan (17787). Everyone else has at least 17000 projected points except Brandon (16844), Tyler (16695) and Melissa (16252).
-
Larry passes GO and gets $200
-
In projected points, everyone is in the 17K-18K range except Brandon (just out at 16907), Tyler (16741) and Melissa (15854). Stephen is the projected points leader at 18,728, followed by Larry (18399), Chloe (18057) and Jared (17947). I will provide the caveat, as usual, that Chloe and Jared are currently running low on games played and are unlikely to get to their max games played which means they are unlikely to get to their projected totals. Stephan is the next one out in projected points.
-
an exciting week last week with lots of lead changes and now a new leader: Sarah/JD!
-
And now Sarah/JD take the lead!
-
Melissa is now within 100 of Larry, and Anna is within 100 of Brandon.
-
Lots of movement at the top! Stephen is our new leader this morning.
-
Well done Steve and Sarah/JD.

the top 3 teams are within 100 pts.
-
Now that we are into the season and the standings are less dynamic, I plan to note when any team makes a change in the standings. Good luck!
-
Having missed the projection update last week, there have been some shifting over the two weeks. 1) Stephen, 18487, 2) Jared, 18197, 3) Chloe, 18195, 4) Larry, 18071, 5) JT, 17965, 6) Stephan, 17832. Jared and Larry were the big positive movers, while Paul dropped back. Tyler and Melissa continue to be the last two, by quite a margin!
-
And Melissa moves into the top 5

Oh the difference a day makes.....

$2 for Melissa yesterday!
-
he is the Phillie who hit a walk off HR last night in his first MLB game!
-
someone should pick up lucas williams....very high ppg.

Adjusting for games played, Chloe is the leader with 18435, followed by Stephen with 18096, then Paul with 18049, then Stephan with 17806. Adjusting for games that can be played is too difficult for me to do on the fly....but Jared will not get to 810 in the OF (180 today), JT will not get to 162 at 2B (34) or UTIL (35), Chloe will not get there in MI (40) or UTIL (20), and Melissa will not get there in UTIL (40). JT and Chloe are also substantially behind pace in IP.
-
The second month of the season is now complete, and we are at exactly 1/3 of games played (54 is on pace for 162 today). There are 121 days of games left so you must have played 41 games at a position to still be in contention for 162 (although a double header here or there might help out). Paul won May and continues to extend his league lead. He is now up 400+ points. Sarah/JD are second, Larry is third and Stephen is fourth. Jared has the best hitters and JT has the best pitchers.
-
Monday update for 5/24. The top 4 scores adjusted for games played are: 1) Paul, 2) Chloe, 3) Stephen, 4) Stephan. Tyler and Melissa are last.
-
200 for Larry!
-
Strain LLC has the top 3 spots!
-
From my perspective, the big news last week was the implosion by Roca Athletics. They only scored 400 points and went from a contender to a pretender! Oh well, there is 75% of the season left. The projected leaders are starting to conform more to the actual leaders as the season progresses. JT and Chloe are the exceptions as they struggle to catch up in games played/innings pitched, but they are on good pace.
-
Today we have completed 25% of the season. It takes 40 games to be on 162 pace. Paul continues to lead, followed by Stephen, Sarah and Stephan. The order has changed, but the 4 leaders have not. The top 4 hitters are Jared, Brandon then Anna/Paul (with Tyler dropping out). The top 4 pitchers are JT, Chloe, Larry and Stephen (no change). The projected top 4 are Paul, JT, Chloe and Anna, with many other teams (but not Larry, Tyler and Melissa) close behind.
