10 weeks left to go, so teams need to be within 10% of Larry to stay in contention. The big news of last week is that Sarah/JD made up sufficient points on Larry to get back above the cut line. Larry currently leads at 100%. Tyler is 2nd at 99.7%. Stephen is at 96.8%. Stephan is at 94.0%. Paul is at 92.5%. Sarah/JD are at 90.7%. 9% is the cut next week so Sarah/JD will need to continue their comeback to stay in.
-
200+ for Tyler and Sarah/JD.
-
Players go back to work today! Check your line ups!
-
On an adjusted basis, Tyler is the leader, followed by Larry, Stephen, Paul, and Stephan among the contenders. Larry leads pitching at 5.85/ip and Tyler leads hitting with 5.28/g.
-
The All Star Break is the traditional, though not mathematical, halfway point of the season. Larry continues to lead with 10,940 pts and he made a big trade with Jared that will strengthen him for the run to the end of the season. With 11 weeks, teams needs to be within 11% to be in good contention (9736). Of course, that is an arbitrary cut off, but it does eliminate Sarah/JD. Larry, Tyler, Stephen, Stephan and Paul all remain in contention.
-
Sarah and JD go over 200!
-
Josh Hader was -50 for me as an RP last night!
-
200+ for Paul last night!
-
Big trade today!
-
Stephen wins the Flaherty sweepstakes!
-
All Owners: Players in bold under your cap penalty section of your roster page, can be auctioned....and if no one else bids, you will win the auction, and then can cut them so that your cap penalty will be cut in half. This gives you more money to spend on free agents. FYI
-
Larry continues to lead with 12 weeks left in the season. If someone is to gain 1%/week, then need to be within 12% of his score to have a chance to beat him. 12% behind him is 8998 points, so let's call it 8971 so that Sarah/JD are still in the mix. Unadjusted scoring leaves Larry, Tyler, Stephen, Stephan, Paul and Sarah/JD in contention with 12 weeks left. I will adjust the threshold to remain in contention by 1% each week for the remainder of the season.

$2 for Stephen yesterday!
-
Today we are halfway through the season. If you are on pace at a postion, you should have played 81 games. Larry continues to lead the pack. Paul now has the best hitters and Larry continues to have the best pitchers. Good luck in the 2nd half!
-
200 for Tyler yesterday.
-
200 for Paul today!
-
Larry saw my note yesterday about the lead change and had a closer door team meeting. His team responded with a 200 point day opening a lead of more than 100 points!
-
Larry had a bad day yesterday (-1), so at least for a day, we have a new leader. Tyler leads by 9.
-
Congratulations to Tyler for taking over first place. 3 teams within 100 points of each other for the lead.
-
200 for Paul snd Stephen yesterday!
-
I missed posting yesterday, but...the top 3 teams remain the same this week (Larry/Tyler/Stephen). The top hitters and pitchers also remain the same. Interestingly, new teams are on the move. Anna, Stephan and Sarah had the best 7d scores, while Stephen, Sarah, and Tyler had the best 30d scores. Continued movement by Anna, Stephan and Sarah could get them into the leaders. Adjusted scoring leaders are Tyler/Larry/Stephen.
-
The standings did not change much this week with Larry, Tyler, Stephen and Paul at the top. Brandon has had the best 30d run in the league, with Paul, Stephen and Larry leading last week. The best hitters are Tyler, Paul and Stephen while the best pitchers are Larry, Tyler and JT.
-
not a good weekend for the Athletics. went into the weekend with Marte nursing a hamstring, now Betts (broken rib), Alvarez (limped off yesterday), Machado (rolled ankle on first base today) all likely headed to the DL! My best hitters!
-
200 for Stephan & Melissa!
-
Sarah/JD go over 200 today!
-
200 for Stephen!
-
200 for Larry!
-
On the hitting side, Tyler leads with 5.13 ppg, followed by Stephen, Paul and Larry.
On the pitching side, Larry leads with 5.81 ppip, followed by JT, Tyler and Stephen.
Good luck to all!
-
We have now completed 1/3 of the season. You should be at 54 games to be on track for 162 at each position, 270 for the OF, and 500 innings for pitchers. Larry continues to lead (he has been the leader at the end of the day since 4/18). Tyler, Stephen and Paul are all within 10% of Larry. Stephan, Brandon, Anna and Sarah/JD are within 20%.
-
Paul and Stephen both get $2 today!
-
$2 for Tyler yesterday
-
$2 for Stephan! Who can be next?
-
$3 for Stephen!!!
-
What are the odds all of your starters pitch on the same day? I need Stephan's help to calculate it ...
-
5 SP going on one day has a tendency to lead to big scoring days.....and Stephen had another SP who he sat today (since you can't have 6 SP throwing on one day)!
-
$2 for Stephen!
-
At the Memorial Day mark, Larry continues to lead the league. Tyler, Stephen, Stephan, Paul, and now Anna are the next 5 chasing Larry. I must say Larry is looking very strong and continues to stretch out his lead. It will be interesting to see if anyone can slow him down.
-
$2 for Tyler
-
No team has improved their hitting from last year to this year, but Stephan, JT and Tyler have had the least decline.
Several teams have improved their pitching from last year with Sarah, Tyler and Jared having the most improvement.
-
At this point, it appears the following teams will not reach 162 games for these positions (so their adjusted score is artificially high). 1B Chloe, 2B JT, SS Chloe, MI: JT, UT: Melissa.
-
The top 6 teams are Larry, Tyler, Stephen, Stephan, Paul and Sarah. Adjusting for games played, the top 6 teams are Larry, Stephen, Tyler, Stephan, Paul, and JT.
-
Interestingly, pitching stats are only modestly higher from last year. Last year 5/10 teams averaged greater than 5 P/IP, while this year the number is 7. Last year the low was 4.10, while this year it is 4.65. Larry leads the league in P/IP. Paul leads in IP. Larry leads in SV. Sarah leads in H. JT has issued the fewest BB, HBP and HR.
-
Hitting stats are down substantially from last season. Last year 8/12 teams hit at > than 5 P/G, and the league low was 4.77. This year, no team is above 5 P/G and the league high is 4.77. Tyler and Stephen are tied for the lead with 4.77. Larry leads AB. Stephan leads H. Stephen leads 2B. Larry and Melissa are tied for 3B. Tyler leads HR. Stephen leads BB. Tyler leads HBP. Stephen leads SB. Larry and Anna have the least caught stealing.
-
We are 25% thru the season today, so I am doing a deeper weekly dive. At this point in the season, the top scorers for each position are: C Varsho, 1B Cron, 2B France, SS Anderson, 3B Machado, OF Trout, Judge, Ward, SP Gausman.
The top P/G or P/IP are: C Contreras, 1B Goldschmidt, 2B Altuve, SS Anderson, 3B Machado, OF Ward, Trout, Judge, SP Kopech.
This would be the all star team at this point in the season.
-
There is a change in the top 3 from last week, and I was able to move up to 2nd. Larry still leads, while Stephen is now 3rd and Paul dropped out of the top 3, for now.
-
I was remiss in posting my APR summary. Larry, Stephen and Paul lead, with Tyler close behind. The best hitting teams are Paul, Larry and Stephen, with Brandon right behind. The best pitching teams are Stephen, Larry and Tyler, with Stephan right behind. At this point, 25g played is on 162 pace.
-
200 for Larry!
-
Larry followed by Brandon and Paul were the 7d leaders last week. That resulted in Larry, Stephen and Paul moving into the top 3 spots. Larry, Paul and Brandon are the top 3 hitters, while Larry, Tyler and Stephen are the top 3 pitchers. Larry had a really good week!
-
Good job M!
-
And team 3M is finding its mojo with a high score on the day ! Bragging now because it is probably my only opportunity........
