I personally wouldn't mind drafting earlier this year. That way we would have more time to adjust our rosters (trade) before the season begins. So the Commish is also considering Sunday, March 12th at 3:00 pm eastern/2:00 pm central. Let me know if that date/time works for everyone as well. (Need to know asap to save draft slot in ottoneu)

Friendly Confines managers: Our league is full and all teams are eligible to draft. Therefore, it's time to set our draft date/time. This league usually drafts on weekends, so I'm considering Sunday, March 26th at 3:00 pm eastern/2:00 pm central. Let me know if that works with everyone.

Apparently the league needs 2 managers again, "Who's On First " and "First Losers". As commissioner, I emailed and messaged First Losers to extend his dynasty. He was on the site Feb 7th, but didn't extend his dynasty. I was giving him some more time to pay, but Ottoneu abandoned his team anyway. So, we are down 2 teams again. Speaking as your commissioner, there's nothing worse than being in a dead, inactive league. That is not the Friendly Confines. 11 of our 12 members managed their team on a daily to almost daily basis. That makes us a strong, active league. Let's keep being active throughout the off season and into next year.
Arbitration starts soon and runs about a month. Then it's trading season again. Let's keep this a strong and active league.

Those who responded all seemed good with Saturday March 26th for our auction draft. I did change the time to 7:00 pm eastern time to accommodate. I will message the three managers who did not respond yet to inform them. So, I guess, start preparing for our auction draft on Saturday, March 26th, at 7:00 pm eastern time. Good luck to all.

Saturday 3/26 is good for me as well. I would also prefer 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 but will try to make it work if others have a strong preference.

Hey Friendly Confines members. Don't forget that you only have 3 days remaining (Jan 31st) to renew your team for the coming season. So far we only have one team that has renewed. Let's keep this league going. Also, we still have three openings in our league. We need to get them filled. If you know of anyone, have them join ASAP. Here's hoping that there really is a full season of baseball this year.
