Also, one thing that went a bit under the radar with our auction: good on all of us for not drafting Michael Brantley (retired) or Ryu (playing in Korea)! None of those fun moments where you draft a backstop named McCann not realizing he'd retired a couple months earlier!

He is but because he was cut after auction we have the option to claim at his price point.
I think the key aspect is if he cleared waivers he wouldn't be eligible to be up for auction until after the MiLB draft.

Draft officially starts tomorrow at noon et. You will have 8 hrs to make pick, or you will be skipped and make up pick whenever you can. Clock rests from 1 am to 9 am ET, so you won't be skipped overnight.
