As far as the league dues go, I have a Commish that blocks transactions for any team that hasn't paid. "Pay that man his money."

Guys lets do the draft on Sunday march 3rd sometime in the afternoon. Part 1 anyway. That day has all green checks so far. We are not going to all agree on a date so we need to find something that works for a majority. Do that day for part 1 and maybe a couple of other days to finish it up. The longer we wait to decide, the more alternative plans get made to interfere.
-
Thanks for the poll. My dates are logged (including late on March 17 if needed). And I appreciate the concept of a 5-hour initial session cutoff. I want some dollar days too!
-
Thanks, TJ. Good idea. Just entered my availability.

I made this poll, with an evening slot for every weekday & morning + evening slots for weekends (+ President's Day).

Even if not everybody fills it out, it's a handy way of visualizing who's free when in case we want to break it up into a few sessions.
(My availability is already in there)

Friday the 8th and Friday the 15th are the only 2 nights that won't work for me...can probably make anything else work

Ok, a lot of notes have been sent around. Some answers, comments and questions.
1) OttoNeu season starts on the 20th, it is in the key dates. Assuming those stats will be added to week one. So doing the draft after the 17th won't work.
2) Later in the day works, as we have some on PST. I have seen back and forth on here, please let me know days you can't make.
3) Matt, thanks for the offer. Let me figure out the PayDala thing and if they fix it, and I will bring it up at a la

I'm good with the draft. Just let me know when everyone else is done so I can start picking up $1 guys.
I'll volunteer to handle payments rather than deal with this Paydala business. I have Venmo and PayPal. I just ask that everyone pay upfront instead of chasing at the end. Disclaimer - I reserve the right to harass or publicly shame you for not paying. Deadbeats do not exist in this dojo.

I am in Disney from 3/7 to 3/15. I can draft anytime from late afternoon on the 16th through the 20th, if we're trying to get it down before the 20th. Do we know if Ottoneu counts the early Korea games? If I'm the only person who isnt available during that earlier time frame, I can try to figure something out.

As long as it is after 3:00pm EST, i am ok for pretty much any day or days.
-
That date/time doesn't work for me either (and I didn't notice that we'd even picked one) -- can we do a poll or something?
I'd vote to have it earlier anyway so that there's some time for post-draft maneuvering before the season starts. Perhaps Sunday 3/10?
-
Hi Pat, I did notice what day it was. Saturday's have been tough for this group, but the season starting on the 20th ties my hands a little. I do agree we should cap this at about 5 hours and finish up one night during the week (it would have to be Monday or Tuesday night).
-
I’m all for changing the payments. As for the draft, Chicago’s South Side Irish parade steps off two blocks from my house at noon CST on March 17, so I’m hoping we could maybe not draft on that high holiday for my people but I’ll make do if necessary. Unfortunately, we may again need two draft dates because there are 303 players to be drafted. If we somehow took only 1 minute per auction, that’s 5+ hours. Realistically, I think we have at least 8 hours of drafting ahead of us.
-
Great season everyone. Congrats Cherry Pie. A shoutout to Bonesaws making the finals every season?!? That's outstanding.
-
Thanks Bonesaws...Great season for you as well making it back to the finals and congrats also to TJRC for being the top seed and for a tough semi-final. And thanks to all of my trade partners during the season that helped me get here...you know who you are. Will be a fun off season getting back under the cap.

Bitter defeat at the hands of sweet Cherry Pie. Congrats, champ!!! That was quite the thorough beatdown. I’m lucky to finish second amongst the tenacious playoff field. My team had so many mediocre San Francisco hitters this year I could’ve renamed it They Might Be Giants.
-
Thanks Lupulin. Looking forward to another one and done. Good luck to everyone else as well.

Good luck to all the playoff teams!

Okay, so Carolina was backfilled, let's welcome Lothar to the league. Majka is now out, if you know someone that may be interested let me know. If we don't fill soon I will post on community board, but would rather bring in someone one of us knows. Reminders

2) Arbitration has begun and runs through Nov. 14th I believe
3) Please renew your team for next year so I know your back.
Let me know if you have any questions and/or need my Venmo or PayPal info.

Thank you! It was a fun and challenging season with Lupulin, Mutated, Ordinary, Wacha and Mac all putting up fierce competition. Looking forward to 2023.
-
We congratulated him privately, but congrats to Bonesaws. Hell of a team and a season!
-
Year 2 in the books. Ottoneu really does it right. Great season, all!

I totally thought I was toast, too. Helluva division race we got going on.
-
Amazing! And you watched the whole dumpster burn.

Tip of my cap to Beverly for inflicting the most heartbreaking H2H loss ever. With the Sunday afternoon games over except the SF-PIT game entering the 9th inning, I had what I thought was a 99% safe 15-point lead. Only Doval and Estrada were still active, both for Beverly. So I tuned in to the game. When Doval entered a tie game (no save opp) and pitched poorly, I figured I had won. But Estrada's walkoff HR was literally the only outcome that could have flipped this matchup, and I lost by 0.24.
-
I don’t know if I have enough bullets this week, Ordinary. My hitters have pulled out some squeakers this season, but Mutated is setting the standard.
-
It's me against you but all possible points do not add to that???
-
Honestly, I'm not sure? Probably the biggest factor is that I've already used 5/7 of my pitcher starts this week, with a sixth one scheduled for tonight. Plus I got 86 points from three Padres who played a doubleheader yesterday. Regardless, I'm sure Beverly will pass me by the end of the weekend, as usual.
-
Ordinary Effort, how is your scoring 455??
-
Sorry, missed this. Fantastic work.
-
So I finally had a chance to check (it was manual). It is up a little, this year about 450 moves. Last year at the same time was just under 400 moves.
-
I think a few of us saved some money at the draft for in-season pickups this year when we didn't last year. I know that's the case with me.... Definitely helps to know what you're doing the second time around (relatively speaking, of course)
-
Is there a transactions count anywhere? Is it just me or are there like 3 times as many moves this year as compared to last?
-
Trey Mancini/MJ Melendez Package available. Happy Easter.

At 3:00 I will either be in the car driving back from Baltimore or still in Baltimore between soccer games depending on how my sons tournament goes. I am planning on being in the draft room from my phone, assuming no technical difficulties. It’s going to be more difficult for me to follow what’s going on though, so you may need to skip me for nominations until I get home. I don’t have much available salary, so I wasn’t planning on being very active in the draft anyway.

Guys, just a heads up here. For the draft Sunday, there is a possibility I will be rolling in a few minutes late-possibly up to 15-20 minutes. I am hoping to be in on time, but hard to say right now. I am not asking for the draft to be held up or anything like that.....if I miss out on a few players, that's my problem. I just want you guys to know that i may end up missing a couple of my own nominations but I am not doing it for any personal gain.
-
5:00 wouldn’t work for me. I am able to do it at 3 or any time earlier in the day.

3pm EST on Sunday March 20 is okay, but I can't do it any later. I have another Otto draft starting at 5pm, so if anything I'd prefer to start our draft earlier. But the current time would probably work fine for me.
-
Good for me
-
Ok. Thanks.

It would be 2 hours later.
