• Also, good luck to anyone whose MLB team is still with in the hunt. October baseball is the best. Sad and angry to see my Oakland A's depart like this. We never won a WS during my fandom but the 2012 ALDS Game 4 in Oakland remains the greatest sporting event I've ever attended. The Coliseum was transcendant and I loved it & our fans so much. I hope we can figure out a way to stop the greed and incompetence inflicted on us from ever coming to another franchise again. Baseball deserves bet

• You all gave me a run for it, esp Schrodinger, but yeah, looks like it's in hand. I still don't have the hang of hitting my game caps, that left a lot of points on the board. I'll celebrate (hopefully not too prematurely) with my first-ever NPB game tonight. Hanshin Tigers v. Yokohama at the legendary Koshien Stadium. Should be a blast. I don't recommend trying to set lineups with a championship on the line from Japan time. Amazing season everyone! Looking fwd to offseason!

• Schrodinger: Sorry to hear you have been sick. I'm glad you renewed. I don't have angst over late cuts. Theoretically, you could abandon the team and then claim it to have a free round of cuts, so I can just save you the hassle. Just send me who you want to cut and I can do it without penalty. The cuts will show up in the transactions list, so everyone will be able to see what happened.

• It will be close but if my roster management was better, my lineup management (and seasonlong strategy) wasn't. I'm going to finish ~35 GS behind the cap (20 at 2B), which is enough even at mediocre PPG would be a clear difference-maker. I ended up with a very bad MI situation, which I knew, and ended up correcting via trades -- but too late, and at that point I'd been too conservative in not playing good MI. Lesson for next year! And hope we can have a photo finish here. Play ball!
