Team Pitcher of Jon Gray has been abandoned by the owner. Owner will not be renewing. Doesn't have the time to keep up with the team. I removed the owner for someone else to possibly claim the team before season ends.

can't speak for everyone but when I do it it's almost always to clear cap penalties on players I've previously cut (like with DeGrom the cap hit I'm taking went from $24 to $12)

Maybe this is why I'm in the bottom half of the league but can someone explain to me why you add a guy and then drop him immediately? Is it solely to keep him away from another team? I just want to understand the logic behind it.

Haase, Gibson, and Matz were assigned to Flying Falcons when he joined the league. Please don't bid on these players. I didn't have an option to take them off the auction list.

My personal preference would be to let the existing rules work as intended. I get the intent. In the leagues where I'm a commissioner, I figure that Just like an umpire, the less I get noticed, the better.

I have removed Karinchak and put him up for Auction so every team has a fair chance to acquire him.

I'm fine with the one-time FA signings given the circumstances, but I think we gotta just let everything else work as normal. Like, sure he could've outbid everyone, but maybe others would have claimed him on waivers, or bid more than $8 in an auction. it's not *really* a huge deal, I just hope this isn't the new normal for how the league is run. it sucks that Falcons is at a disadvantage but he's playing this season for free and knew the situation he was getting into

Falcons had the most cap space and could of outbid other teams if he was in the auction. All that extra money would of been in the auction draft with another team driving up prices. I allow this and the Free agent signings to give his team a more fair chance to compete

sure, but then let it go through and give the league a chance to veto if they feel differently... the behind the scenes roster moves just sets a weird precedent to me. the rules are there for a reason

They agreed to the trade. I believe it's fair for both sides. Tides looses the player but gets valid roster.
Falcons gets a RP which he needed to fill roster.

I sent James Karinchak to Flying Falcons for Cap Space. Tried to do the same with AJ Puk but had to move Karinchak instead to make my team valid.

Can I get everyone's opinions on something? Flying Falcons wasn't able to participate in the auction draft. Would you all reject to me putting free agent players on his team as commissioner? It would be players he chooses and salary would be that players avg salary most likely

I feel bad you'll have a season basically with just 11 teams, which will screw with the league for a bit, but it is what it is. Kraken you can abandon my team and someone can take it over with a free season to try and start rebuilding it.

I get up at 6:30 am though - starting at 2:00 am just too much for me. I'm going to bed. It's not a big deal, I'm not mad about it, risk I take trying to keep up with US fantasy sports.

I made it clear both in the spreadsheet and in a post here what I could do. As recently as Feb 16th I posted in this chat "I know it's not your problem and I'll work with whatever is selected, but the earlier in the day the better for me - I am in central Europe so 6 hours ahead of the East Coast. An afternoon on the weekend would be ideal, or if in the evening a Fri or Sat." We picked a Sun evening. Fine - 7pm was 1 am, and I could stay up til 2 or so and blow my cash then go to bed.

The drafts usually go 2+ hours, you would have been drafting into 8pm eastern anyway. Why don’t you catch the first hour at least?

Sorry it didn't work out Knights. Draft date and time has been set for a while though (except for the 1 hour shift) - we probably should have worked to figure something out long before today if it was going to be an issue.

Just abandon my team and see if you can find someone to take it between now and auction. I'm out the $50, it is what it is. Good luck guys.
