• Sorry I couldn't respond earlier, but like I said, the 15th makes it damn-near impossible for me. Seems like a pretty quick trigger to take a one-hour vote and then recommend we opt out if the one date doesn't work. Harsh. Is there really no flexibility on the date? • also Saturday 2/22 and Sunday 2/23. I can probably make just about everything else work, but the best days for me are Mar 7/8, and Mar 21/22. Weekdays in the evenings are okay, some days are much better than others. I will probably be able to make most draft dates work EXCEPT for anything happening on the February 22/23 weekend and the week leading up to and including the weekend of the 14th and 15th of March.

• I'm pretty flexible with whatever the league feels, I generally have nights and weekends free, so shouldn't really be an issue.

• A few other tips: Load up the draft room and familiarize yourself with it. It's pretty simple but it's nice to know where everything is. Go through the free agent pool in the Players tab and add people to your watchlist, which you can then import into the draft room. They will be auto-removed from your list once they are nominated in the draft room

• I'm good to do the full draft Sunday the 15th, if we need more time I'm pretty flexible. Weekends open and evenings during the week. Like others have commented, I'm on board with doing everything possible to have the draft run as efficiently as possible.

• I too would prefer to try and get thru in one day. My work schedule is flexible but I like to work as much as I can. All the points being made to expedite the auction can really make a huge difference.

• I would prefer to try and get most done on the 15th, and then if need another day we schedule it then. Most people don't tend to draft the full 40 (though nothing wrong with filling up a roster) Another way to keep the draft moving is to make sure higher value players aren't nominated at $1. No one is gonna sneak through a $1 Mike Trout, might as well start him at $30 at least.

• Personally I don't plan on drafting 40 players. That way I'll be able to pick up free agents without paying a penalty for dropping a player

• IIRC, you have 30 seconds to nominate a player and then 15 seconds after each bid to enter an increase. So it takes over a minute per player at the beginning of the auction, when there are a lot of bids on a player. But towards the end of the draft, it goes very quickly for guys who are going for $1 or $2. The key is not missing nominations (and having someone ready so it doesn't take the full 30 seconds).

• Does anyone remember how long the draft clock is? Is it 30 or 60 seconds (without multiple bids)? I would prefer to finish it in one day However if everyone drafts 40 players it will be 480 players

• I'd prefer to do it in one day. The first 200 or so players will take a while to go through since there are multiple bids. But the second half or so of the auction goes very quickly if everyone make their nominations.

• OK a couple of ideas for two day draft. We can hold 1st draft on the day before. So it would be March 14th and 15th We can hold second part any week day after the 15th in which case please indicate which day would be possible for you (Mon Tue Wed ect) We could hold second half of draft the following weekend. March 22nd Or we can get it all done in one day since we are starting at 12 Noon EST. Please vote on league message board

• I was going to mention the same thought. I'd suggest having a secondary date as a possibility to wrap it up. There are tips some of us Otto veterans can provide to help keep the draft moving as well
