It's well-hidden. Sneaky little bugger, that.

And so there is, indeed, such a button! My bad. Thanks.

There's a calendar button the league home page, right under the "reports" tab. Has all the important dates on it.

January 31st, 11:59pm EST. I wish it was later, but I complain to Niv about that every year.

With apologies for the stupid question...when's the keeper deadline again? Thanks! Bear with me on the e-mails, folks. This time of year, I'm usually bailing water on my fantasy football abominations. But I do check in just often enough...

Before we start worrying about a draft date, I'll go ahead and raise my usual objection to March 21.

Welcome to the league. Let me know if you have any questions.

Also, I apologize for allocating a dollar towards Morneau, but it was part of a trade that the other party has yet to accept.

We're going to post our allocations before the deadline?don't worry. $20 buy-in is fine with me.

Wow, we might need some new owners here asap.

Still only at 5.5 team allocation budgets spent.

I'm in for the $20 buy in.
The Evil Guys on

err, $4, that is
-
meanwhile Glen Perkins went for $2... :D
-
20 works for me

All I know is there was a lot of flak going around for some shitty RPs, and I was taking most of it!

I'm down for $20

Seriously. $20 is pretty reasonable. Ridiculously low, actually. Let's do this...

Haha. Bullshit you wanted him, Joe. In response to my bullish comments on Uehara, I think your words were "he can't feel anything below his elbow but he's still got, eh?!"

...and would I gamble on him 2 years in a row? Well, is he still on my roster?

Santana was a good gamble at, what...$3? And he was a 900 point pitcher. We call this... VALUE. :)

For what it's worth I'm really happy with the participation/engagement level in the league right now, but it still might be fun and maybe make people even more engaged to have a little more skin in the game
-
So back to the laborious buy-in discussions, since we might as well figure something out now--did we settle on like $15-20 for all but 2 owners (who obviously can't opt in at a later stage)?
-
Err, back-end of the rotation, that is.
Chicago Socks on
October 29, 2013 5:35 PM

I don't think he's anything special, but he's definitely startable as the back-end of the bullpen type.
Chicago Socks on
October 29, 2013 5:35 PM

Yeah, so both of you guys. I have to say I still think he kinda sucks though
-
It was either me or Lidle. I picked him up at the keeper deadline, traded him to Lidle immediately after the auction.

I should probably publicly apologize for my heckling re: Ervin Santana, to whoever that was. A Lidle to the Right?

I didn't heckle you, I wanted him!

You people who haven't done your arb should get started on it. You're allowed to change your allocations after you assign them.

Let the record show that Uehara was a stud this season, despite all the heckling I got from Joe and others for drafting him...

Happy Arb Day. Or as it's now known, the day all Chris Davis owners hate.
-
I like how we can see what other people allocated to various players and re-adjust our allocations. Does add some depth to the system.

Verily, thanks to all for a great season! Tommy, congrats are in order: it was an impressive season for you and the Wang's. Next year, I think the top of the leaderboard might get a little more action.
