Let's do it from the start of the draft, since the purpose is to fix the player pool for the duration of the draft so everyone has an equal opportunity to bid on players. That is, you can't start an auction for any for minor leaguer (i.e., anyone eligible for the draft, which means ROY eligible) from the start of the draft until the end of the draft. We'll also set the draft order with standings as of the end of the day on Saturday.

I submitted a support ticket about the Acuna-Adell trade and Nivwill probably fix it later this morning. I can also manually adjust the rosters if he can't for some reason. Cosby Sweaters has called up Spencer Howard (SP) PHI from his MiLB and cut Justin Dunn from his MiLB. Let's aim to start the MiLB draft on Sunday at noon, so please make any cuts before then (just DM me or post them on the message board).

Its showing up in the trade history as processed and was not vetoed. I'll email Niv to see what is up. He's been having some server issues recently and it might be related to that.

If I click on the trade it says processed, but Adell is still on my roster (even if I look at tomorrow) so not sure what’s going on.

Nah. There was definitely an Acuna deal at some point. How'd that one get vetoed but the Greinke one didn't?!?!?!

No, I think we wanted to do it after the deadline for draft picks to sign, which I believe in August 15th. So maybe we'll start it up on Sunday, August 16th. Does that work for everyone? We'll have a deadline to submit any MiLB cuts a few days before then.

Yeah, we usually have a MiLB draft right after our main draft in Feb/March and then do a second one around the All Star Break (so not quite 6 months apart).

Forgot to mention: originally the 2020 MLB draft signing deadline was July 10th (i.e., right before our MiLB draft); however, given everything going on, MLB pushed the deadline back to August 1st. Players need to exist in the Ottoneu universe to be eligible to be drafted, which can only happen after they've signed. So if we do it July 14th, there's a chance that some recently drafted guys won't be available who would be available in a few weeks.

Hey all! I just wanted to check in about our supplemental MiLB draft. It was originally scheduled to be around the 2020 All Star Game (July 14), but wondering if we should push that back to after the start of Opening Day. So two questions: a) Should we have a July/August draft? and b) If so, when should we do it?
