After sleeping on it, I think we're too late in the game to move the draft this year. I would like to discuss this offseason updating the rules, as I think it will add a fun layer to the MiLB draft if that is the first opportunity to add newly drafted and signed players. For this year, we will move forward as usual.

I just ask that we have time to make cuts either way after the decision is made. Also, if we wait for the draft eligibles, are we allowed to draft them before they sign and are in the ottoneu universe, ie, before we allowed to auction them?

Another owner reached out and suggested the same.. I'm for it but as you point out maybe too late. If anyone else here feels strongly that we should delay the draft until the deadline please im me or post on here.. let's try to align by end of day today

Hey commish. I know rule changes are for the off-season. But, should we postpone the MILB draft until after the MLB Draft signing date? The whole intrigue with the mid season MILB draft is for the new players that are coming in. The MLB draft will still be going on when this gets kicked off.

Reminder the mid year MiLB draft starts at the all star break. Monday morning I will post the draft order. Please either post here or message me to cut anyone from your 10 MiLB or call up to the 40-man roster. Also please remember not to start auctions on any MiLB eligible players once the draft starts.
