Especially if you're shipping from Alaska.
-
It depends on what and when you're shipping - I wouldn't send a bunch of fresh hazy in a flat rate in August. But if you are sending beers less dependent on super fresh hop character, or it's really cold out anyway, pounders in a flat rate box is the way to go.
-
Nice. Maybe I've been too enthusiastic with previous beer shipping and exceeded flat rate constraints. It cost me a boat load to send some beer to my brother a couple of years ago.
-
You can fit 6 well wrapped 16 oz cans is a USPS Priority Mail large flat rate box. No AK surcharge. I don't think there is an extra surcharge for Priority Mail Cubic either.
-
I love the idea of trading beer, but has anyone ever looked into the costs for shipping beer to/from Alaska? It ain't cheap...
-
What can I say, I enjoy beer trades.
-
John Hook has got down mailing /packaging beer to a science . No space wasted and meticulously packed
-
No way. It’s a pain to mail beer and a lot of fun to receive it!
-
Maybe the beer mailing could be a gift card.
-
Hey Mike Trout is playing baseball again! Anyone want him?

Its a pleasure putting Dustin May in my lineup , maybe I can climb out of 12th

Moncada, the king of being cut , officially a bust.

$ZZZ

Salary Cap Question: I should know this, but... On our Rosters page, salary is described as "$XXX out of $ZZZ". Which number is our hard cap? The $XXX or the $ZZZ? If you are at $475 of $500 are you capped out, or can you go to $500 of $525?
-
(Though I was too stupid to leave Cabrera on the IL for 1 more day.)
-
Yes, it's obvious. The beauty of this contest is that those of us in contention to be on the receiving end can't lose: you and John always have the best beer to send! I suppose we should be more subtle about tanking to finish 9th but no one mentioned it when I left a 48-point Morton start on the bench this week.
-
Pat, can you not figure out I just don't want to be the one mailing beer ? Fairly obvious my hidden agenda
-
Cue Muttley's post: "Cole belongs on a contender...."
-
I've been peer pressured into dealing Manoah, who is a personal favorite. I anticipate regrets.
-
Hitch's sales pitch forced me to make a move. I wont reach my game limits either, but gonna try to grab extra cash if I can.
-
Shush up!
-
Degrom belongs on a team seeking a money payout.
-
Sounds like I should go into buy mode.
-
Yeah, you’re right—lazy me assumed everyone trying to win will get all their games. But Shiva is low on 2B and U too. He can make some of it up but it’s easy to imagine him being short ~4% (80) of his possible games. That would drop his effective p/g to 5.02 (dropping behind the Romans) (that’s a low estimate, given he’s getting poor production from 2B and U, but we’ve established that I’m lazy). Still the favorite for 2nd but it’s closer. Maybe 50 or 55 or so innings of deGrom would matter.
-
You can’t really look at ppg/ppi cause Coop is pacing for a wild 70 games short of his OF games cap, so he’s not getting anywhere near full offensive limits. I’d say 2nd is pretty open to anyone who wants it

Yeah, I went way over IP pace early. Been trying to manage that for several weeks, but notices it a little late. Focus on P/IP lately has helped. Still gonna go over. Oh well.
-
For first loser? (Asks the first loser from both leagues last year.) If you say so. Shiva’s got too many IP so his lead over 3rd isn’t really 750 points but looking at p/g and p/ip it doesn’t look like he has that much to worry about (the only competitive team ahead of him in either is wRGB+ in p/ip—but he’s way behind in p/g and has almost as many IP). But anything’s possible. Maybe someone should get deGrom. It’s a 50:25:15:10 split so 3rd (and 4th) is worth something too.
-
All kinds of contention for 2nd. What’s the dollar breakdown for 1-2-3 Mikey?

Is anyone “in contention” here?

Its shocking that none of those in contention arent after Degrom

Nevermind. Drury with everyone else on the Padres

But the Dodgers just got Gallo and Drury. I wonder how playing time will shake out there.

Dodgers prospects Miguel Vargas called up. I'm feeling good about a charge to 3rd place.

I have to choose between Choi-Belt-Votto as my 3rd 1B. I’ll drop one and y’all can waiver-claim him, or someone can offer me the smallest of crumbs for one

Not a coincidence. I felt it coming. I can't wait to see who has declared themselves my mortal fantasy enemy for life with that move.

$3 more

Hope you’re feeling better Mikey.

Sorry guys, I’ve been down with Covid for the last two weeks. I think I only missed one trade that didn’t involve a loan. Let me know if I missed something
-
And Hanniger sits itching his missing testicle
-
Because he's now just over 8 ppg on my team.
-
Are you bitter that Schwarber went nuts right after you traded him?
-
Idaho will offer you pennies
