Somehow overlooked the fact that 2 of my middle infielders will be starting the year on the DL. Since I lack the cap room to pick up one, looking to make either a smallish trade for one, or to sell a player for a few buck loan
-
Thanks. I actually like Zack Brown, rostered him a bit last year. I think he's in my watchlist. I'm not certain I want him here though. It's a little easier in the other league when all the top prospects are already owned.
-
Vlad Vlad Eloy Brown is a great team name. Too bad there's no good Brown playing in the majors. The only Brown I can find with any ownership is Zack Brown, a Brewers minor-league pitcher.
-
Hammer Mechanics ๐จ's trade block has been updated!
-
They will, after his service time has been manipulated.
-
Gennett out 8 to 12 weeks, bring back Senzel Cincy
-
If the DH were a person, I think Iโd be willing to do time for murdering it
-
and no DH in NL
-
I hope he hits often and well. More 2-way players, please.
-
My kid had his glove signed by Lorenzen, even with Owen wearing a Clemente shirt (in Pittsburgh). He's a nice guy.
-
That seldom happens, however
-
If he hits and is used frequently, i wouldnt be able to get him at 1$ . You get lucky some times. Last year i got Aguilar because at the time it was questinable he would be getting fulltime at bats.
-
Of course, but i need rp too so win win.
-
I like lorenzen but question how much he will be used as a hitter.
-
I am surprised Drew allowed me to have Lorenzen, as thin as I am, I welcome his OF bat more than the pitching
-
Itโs not. Itโs a perfectly solid and affordable lager. Iโm a fan. I only let Fredโs slander of it stand cause heโs a beer snob that gets a pass cause heโs clearly not a snobbish dude in general so he gets a pass for his specific beer condescension.
-
So yuenling is the oldest brewery in the states...just saying canโt be all that bad.
-
Hopefully Kimbrel signs with the Crew and my multiple shares have a job.
-
Sonofabitch, looks like Knebel may be toast. Have him in both FCs
-
After last years race to game 163, i do realize that April points count too
-
Im not upset , i was a bit careless
-
I generally preset my lineup for up to a couple weeks out anytime I'm traveling, just in case.
-
You can always click ahead to the next day. I'm pretty sure you can move one day at a time and preset your lineups for the whole season, if you want.
-
Wouodnt let me set lineup last night, as it considered it still the present day
-
4 am might have been cutting it close. Usually it's best to have your lineup in at least an hour before game time.
-
I woke up at 4 am and otto would let set lineups yet, re wike up at 645 and oak vs. Sea is underway and ince again Healy , a tremendous astute fa addition, is on my bench
-
Yes. He will send you some cheap ass ohio Yuengling...blech
-
errr... Hammer Mechanics
-
If the otto site froze for the rest of the season, would Wine and Mice owe Abstract Mechanics some beer?
-
Heโll continue to get one as long as he can handle his home starts. Iโll likely be giving him the day off every road game
-
Derek Holland just wants a paycheck.
-
Not sure why anyone wouldnโt want to be on the Kloobs train... itโs the one likelist of this bunch to reach the station without just deciding halfway (or less) through the race that it is too hard and maybe it will just try again next year
-
Will be a moot point once points start and subsequent standings
-
So Fred, you think ties should be decided by the players? Maybe they are and no one wants to play on team Kloobs.
-
Ties should go to nominee
-
Iโm getting my ass kicked in coinflips
-
I guess the universe agrees w/ me that all Rockies and Braves of any value really belong in my clubhouse!
-
With four auctions down and just a couple to go, looks like I was wrong about Gravy looking to fill an empty roster spot or two. Just made too much sense to me that Bryce Wilson would have been his nomination. Ida would have been about my last guess. With Bryce, I'm 2 for 2 on coin-flip auction wins.
-
With Severino out until May, thought about nominating Tanner Roark. PPI numbers indicate he is better in real life than fantasy, despite the nice spring he is having. Now in hitters park too.
-
I suspect at least some of those nominations are coming from Gravy. He has empty roster spots and reasonable available cap space.
-
Im going too see Liz Phair and Julianna Hatfield in june at a microbrewery beer garden , full band concert too
-
Brew, I loved softball leagues with those mats. I could bring that ball almost straight down. It's brutal (though fun).
-
So, is Capped FC our version of the Atlantic League? Because if it is, we aren't being nearly bold enough. I want to change the point value of HRs allowed. The HR penalty for pitchers is simply too severe. Would messing with the point scales be like moving the mound back 2 ft.?
-
Having two strikes on you with unlimited arch is doom
-
I was in a softball league,,unlimited arch, and there is a matt behind home plate, its a strike if ball touches any part of the plate. We play 16" here, barehanded, and i have the fingers to prove it.
-
MLB should emulate softball beer leagues, can't wait for the double base at 1st and the no slide rule at home plate. But most important, the 55-minute time rule that a lot of municipal softball leagues operate under, no new inning may start after 55 minutes.
-
They say Jesus is coming, he must be walking, he sure ain't running
Who can blame him, look how we done him.... The Devil Makes Three (lyrics from the song, Hallelu)... and here we were too timid to mess in any way with our old league. MLB can't wait to start tearing at the fabric of the game. Of course the true fabric of the game is based on a specific mixture of cotton lint fiber and the color green.
-
In one of my softball leagues i used to play in you started out with 1 and 1 count, and foul balls count as strikes even after strike 2.
-
Braves-Marlins are 5-5 after 8; Marlins starting the 9th with a runner on 2nd. The end is apparently near.
-
I bet its Henry and/or Drew starting all the auctions
