Tatis really deserves some sort of credit/points for taking 2nd on that play.
-
That’s 2 Wisconsin-area 6-packs, counting Keller.
-
Ok..one Georgia area six pack for one wisconsin area six pack. Easy Money...and no going to food bank NGB to bolster your squad
-
You’re on Brew. My guys are fucking savages in the fucking box, right? Or something like that. (Checks standings...I thought I had a bigger lead....) It’s kinda funny that the guy with Bellinger, Tatis, and Bryan Reynolds thinks some other team is over-performing—especially a team that’s had the managing and front-office brilliance my guys have had to endure. Or their pitching.
-
I will bet Pat though ..imo his squad has overperfofmed
-
i wont take that bet , you have the luck of the irish
-
Fred a six pack of pernicious vs new glarus says I will finish ahead of you.......
-
Kevin is like a bad penny, he wont go away
-
Jesus, I’m such an absent-minded idiot. I meant Kirilloff. Not Kepler. If anyone wants my Kirilloff and/or Kelenic, THATS’s who I’m looking to move. Too many K’s on one roster
-
Last call on Kepler
-
I’m trending a little heavy on IP. I may not use Tanaka any more. Since SP replacement level has sunk to well below 4 this year, he’s worth something and probably a keeper at $4. He’s available for anything useful to me, like a 2nd-tier prospect or just a few bucks of capspace.
-
Yes I passed kevin !! Now upstart Pat..4th place and some $$ is mine
-
Arguably Kyle Tucker @ 24 HRs and 20 SBs; and impressively only 1 CS.
-
18 HRs and 29 SBs, is there a better power/speed combo anywhere in the minors?
-
LouBob apparently likes the mlb baseball... 2 HRs in his first AAA game.
-
Thanks hitch. Floating the green river today. Back in contact tomorrow
-
$6 in taxes received from Hitch for Kevin for a running tally of $222.
-
Pony express
-
He’s paid up. Trade is good.
-
Kevin is off the grid in Utah
-
As of right now Kevin hasn’t paid his $6 cap penalty. According to the rules we’ve settled on he has until 2:00 eastern to pay before the trade is voided (Cain has a 2:05 game). Unfortunately I won’t have internet access for the rest of the day, so I won’t be able to determine if the payment comes in by then, but Hitch will monitor the situation and have to make a determination on whether it should be voided. Not the best situation, but not sure what else to do.
-
Hey Kev did you PayPal Mikey that $6? He’s out of the country and asked I check on it
-
Edwin Diaz POS
-
I have Yelich and Bellinger but can get past F$@#&n Kevin !! Grrrrr
-
Vlad, thanks for the Ohtani info, I never had him when he was active.
-
.265/.400/.551 in (only 15 games in) in AAA. Not Ohtani but yeah, better than his earlier AA numbers. (Didn’t most teams see him as a hitter?) Anyway, I’ve got him in a league where I’m going nowhere, and I don’t have to sit a real hitter to use him, so why not? Not sure if Mikey is in the same situation.
-
Guess I hadn't checked on McKay recently enough to notice he likes hitting that AAA/mlb ball A LOT more than that AA baseball!!
-
Actual paid slots get max allocation, but the closer you are to the money the less your salary next year. And a sizeable penalty for last place. Plus, the sooner you make your allocations, the more freedom you have as far as which players to allocate to (Only 3 owners can put an extra dollar on the 6th place team, etc), so there is a small incentive to get your allocations done asap too.
-
Of course, begs the question why anyone would want to play McKay as a hitter? Or has he been doing better w/ the bat lately?
-
I should have thought of this 6 months ago, but an interesting alternative to protect-a-player (which ultimately doesn't really effect your total allocations), would be to assign fixed allocation totals to all 12 finishing positions. For example: 1st-4th all get max allocations of $33 total. 5th gets the minimum, a buck each or $11 total, and then it goes up from there. 6th - $14, 7th - $17, 8th - $20, 9th - $23, 10th - $25, 11th - $25, 12th - $33.
-
It's the same way with Ohtani, he's only swappable into an empty slot.
-
Hey Mikey, FG seems to believe McKay is starting as a hitter today (mlb.com says lineups currently unavailable). I couldn’t “swap” him into 1B or U, but once I created a vacancy there I could move him into it. So a 2-step process not the usual 1.
-
I have protect-a-player aspirations, but some Weldwerks could ease my worries if I can't climb higher than ninth.
-
Vlad-Vlad, Do I sense you have beer aspirations? lol.
-
Considering he's only put up 1,998 points over the last 30 days, I wouldn't call that grip too solid.
-
Drew has a solid grip on the beer prize at the moment.
-
Whatever we decided, I forgot now
-
You mean 9th, right?
-
I'd almost like to finish 11th to dictate terms to NGB on what beer I want
-
4th: 10% of available prize money (so $60 this year); 5th, no cash prize but protect 1 player from arb.
-
What is the cash pay out for 4th and 5th ?
-
Can't imagine that around $5 wouldn't be a high enough bid.
-
Better bid $999. That's the new standard.
-
will 19$ get bid on Karinchak??
-
McKay , 2 baserunners in 6 innings, no runs. For once it's not one of Ngb guys
-
I must have moved him straight to an empty SP slot too (I usually have at least one). I looked at tomorrow’s s lineup—looks like I can only move him to the hitters bench (not to RP, or the Ps bench, or to RP). He should get full Ohtani rights eventually.
-
Got it. Couldn’t move him to the bench, etc. Had to have an empty starting slot.
-
Cap’n, he shows up with that eligibility, but when I click on him nothing in the pitchers opens up. Did you do something particular with him first?
-
I think that's the idea. The thing that's worrisome is that he has a supposedly minor hamstring strain, but hasn't pitched in a month.
-
That Karinchak has some gawdy milb stats, future closer perhaps?
