Victor Victor Mesa has been cut and is now a free agent/eligible to be drafted in the upcoming draft.
-
I would like to cut Victor Victor Mesa if that's possible
-
Hey all, Buddy Reed has been dropped by Big Papi Memories and is now a free agent.

Is there any way we can get a list of all the prospects that are taken. It might end up being a mess to figure out by having to cross reference the restricted player list
-
Hey All, we wanted to announce that we will be doing our midseason 10MiLB draft starting on July 9th, same day as the All Star Game. We'll plan to do it around then each year with the other MiLB draft taking place during the offseason. For the midseason, the order will be reverse standings as of the end of day on July 8th. You will have as many picks as you have empty spots. Promotions or cuts should be announced on/before July 8th so final order can be established prior to draft day.

Mr Rogers Bullpen is cutting Corey Ray from our 10MiLB squad to accommodate the acquisition of Luis Robert. Corey Ray is now a free agent.
-
No problem with that for my part

Hi y’all. The MiLB transaction of topic pertains to Joe Palumbo, who was called up on Saturday to start game 1 of the Ranger’s doubleheader. I conveyed to Commish on Friday that my preference would be to drop Palumbo immediately (before his call-up) if it could be at zero cap dollars. And with this vote, I am asking to have that done retroactively. I did not start Palumbo and did not accrue any points. Thanks! —Nate

Hey all, it seems like Adam's proposal of cap hit if called up, but cap free if in minors is the majority (of people who voted), so that is what we will go forward with. If you plan to cut a milb guy, please post to the message board so that everyone else knows that the player is a free agent and that there will be a time stamp of your decision.
-
It wasn’t clear from my previous post, but I also agree with Adam.

Agree with Adam: cap hit if in majors, free cut if still in minors.
-
Cap hit on the drop sounds good to me
-
I agree with Adam I think if he gets added to the roster then he should be a $1 cap penalty if you want to cut. Before he's on a roster I see no problem cutting for free.
-
Also think it's fine to make an exception this time since Uncertain brought the issue up prior to the player promotion and commissioners are asking all leaguemates for feedback...
-
I agree with slaughter
-
Adam, you make an important distinction in can a 10MiLB player be dropped at no cost if they are not yet called up. Full disclosure, I raised this issue with respect to one of my players that is due to be called up tomorrow. So technically, I would be able to drop him now without the $1 hit if I wanted to. I'm actually okay with whatever, I may add him regardless. But its an important point to resolve regarding the cost of dropping 10MiLB players.
-
Agreed - if promoted call up and take cape hit. If not yet promoted then cap free cut is ok at any time
-
call up and take cap hit
-
If everyone can post a message to the message board with their vote of 1) cap free 10milb cut ok or 2) required $1 call up by Sunday at noon eastern time, we would appreciate it. Thanks! - Drew and Jeff
-
Hey all, just have a vote that we need to take since something 10milb related came up that we want to have everyone's opinion on....a player has been called up to the MLB and is on a team's 10milb roster. Do we want the manger to have the option to drop from 10milb roster cap consequence free? Or should the manager have to call up for $1 and then drop with $1 cap hit if they no longer want the player in their system?

Anyone need a catcher I'm willing to move either Omar or james
-
I get your point Eloy. It’s tough when you only get shitty trade offers for over valued players. Gotta make a move at some point.

I believe Josh Naylor is being promoted today, can you call him up to my squad commish?

Also I forced a name change and you never know how that's going to affect a squad.

My calculus was trade while lots of folks are competitive per Lamb's last comment. I updated my trade block and asked several owners with assets I liked if they were interested. This just happened to be the deal i preferred. I can totally understand folks not liking it, my calculus is verlander is a borderline keep, votto is a cut now, benitendi borderline keep for next year and elias is just a throw in for innings. Sanchez is a $40 dollar player, Mccullers could be a $20 guy, and joc who knows?
-
It's all individual strategy and very league/team dependent. In some leagues 1-2 teams are far ahead so they have all the trading power since no one else sees the point in moving future assets. In other leagues (like ours) there are 7-8 competitive teams, so arguably a good position to start selling if you don't think your team will compete. You can wait, but standings shift, players get hurt, etc. and all of the sudden you lose your window to sell for premium pieces.
-
To each their own but it's not even June, selling for next year is a bit brazen
-
Agree with Put it in the Books - this is the intent of mid season trades. I wouldn't say it was a great or balanced trade from my personal perspective, but it all depends on individual views of the players by the teams trading. Unless there is collusion seems fairly normal
-
When teams look to sell in FGPTS leagues they try and move larger contracts for controllable priced assets. And teams looking to buy use roster surplus to get higher priced assets in order to contend in a given year. This deal is par for this format
-
If that trade is for real it’s a joke.. I want my money back
-
Would love to hear a reasonable explanation of that trade...

Reminder to everyone: You can see the 10MiLB rosters in the Restricted Players page which is in the sub header on this page (some team names have changed so if you have questions holler). Also when you are looking to make trades make sure to read the comments of the trade proposal as that is where any 10MiLB involvement will be disclosed. Hope people are enjoying the season even if some of your players are giving up too many dingers or are injured
